I'm wearing a maroon polo shirt with navy blue chino shorts and I use Westland Aftercut Lawn Thickener Feed & Seed with a little light watering if it's be dry for a few days. Now the international break is pretty much over, can we get back on track with a little pwoper footy chat. Our oppos on the east coast have had a pre-match thread for our game going on for about 2 weeks while we have been discussing cakes and car leasing woes. Them lot seem very down in the dumps and not at all up for this. A few of them think they'll fail to score so the likes of Boufal and Gabbs that we were after on't seem to be setting them alight as much as we thought they would with us. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?58715-Southampton-vs-Watford-build-up#.Wa8DF1WGPIU Can't be bothered with a load of additional silly kookiness. Add your own flippin' architecture. 1-2 to the orns! Gray and Chalobah.
Interesting that none of them pick Van Dyke for their team. Is that because hes injured or they all hate him for wanting to leave ? Anyway, am feeling very confident about this one.
really wish we'd signed gabbiadini, I really rate the scruffy looking ****. He'll get a hattrick, mark my words. Saints 3 Us 4

If you are driving to the match note unless they've moved it Southampton is on south coast[/QUOTE] I was tired.
Got bored and didn't read it all but my god that saints thread is boring, I mean really dull, no random boll**ks, no stupid arguments, makes me proud to be a hornet. Think we'll win 1 - 0, with one injury in each half, Kabasele and Gomes. Gray will be pants (not the goalkeeper), Carrillo will look flashy but leave Fermina horribly exposed by accepting no defensive responsibility and Richarlison will be mesmeric in putting the winner on a plate for Cleverly. With no fit or inducted CB's we'll play with a false 6, Holebas will look delighted to be back but be skinned by Long or Redmond if they play on the right. Chalobah and Doucoure will be imperious in making the much longed for Lemina look bang average.
Looking forward to this game after yet another dismal international break. Don't think we will get much out of this game, Southampton have had a decent start to the season and strengthened in key areas. I imagine we will see Wague and Kabs and cb with Holebas and Kiko at the back. Midfield and attack sorts itself out and I believe we will probably see Gomes in goal over Karnezis. Just glad for proper football to be back.
Very interesting. Do you find that Westland Aftercut Lawn Thickener Feed & Seed works well then. I am thinking of giving it a try. Oh and by the way, I am also going to Southampton.
I'm just going to come right out and say what 99.99% of watford fans are thinking: andre gray is the worst player ever to pull on the watford shirt in the entire history of the club. If you disagree, you're in the 0.01%.
The problem with jokes about a player being awful after 2 games is that too often some people on here genuinely mean it, meaning it's difficult to separate the 'jokes' with the reality and before you know it some others start to actually believe the false news and jump on board. Luckily there are enough on this site that don't work that way. Fairly confident about this one. 'Jokes' aside, I think it's tailored to Gray and our quick counter attacks.
Yeah it seems to work ok. Started using it on a section of lawn I put in that wasn't taking to the soil too well and has now filled out well. Also in permanent use for anywhere the mutt decides is the latest digging spot. I'd recommend and at £10 for a massive box from wickes/b&q and supermarkets it's cheap enough to at least try.
Does it work on carpets or paving stones as I dont have a lawn, but would like to join in the conversation in a more active manner ?
What evidence have you seen that makes you confident? The burnley forum was celebrating his departure and were astonished at the price we paid, and so far he's been utterly ineffective. His hopeless first touch completely negates his pace. On paper he's exactly what we need, but in reality he's simply not good enough at football to do it. A dud.
Not the lawn one. You need 'Westland Carpet & Paving Lawn Sprucing Energy Agent Feed & Breed' with hard ground penetration enriched supersoft active growth serum.
Exactly. His pace can pull defences apart and let those in behind him exploit the pace. Yes he should have scored that pull back from Amrabat and ended up playing his man more than the ball (both BHA) but fair enough. Can we really expect better from a mid table striker?
Agreed, continued use of chemical fertiliser can reduce the soil nutrient quality long term, much better using a homemade comfrey or nettle solution as a natural alternative, it's also free.
I'd like to ask the Gardener's Questions panel about how to get rid of Yarrow. I'm getting a lot of this in my lawn. I rip it out by the handful, but there always seems to be more and more. I've read that poor nutrition could be the cause and wonder whether perhaps I should try a chemical fertilizer? What would the panel recommend?
I have a question for the panel on Gardeners Question Time. I recently discovered a proliferation of this unknown weed in my garden. I proceeded to burn it off as a bio friendly way of eliminating the said weed instead of spraying harmful chemicals. However since then I have lost all motivation due to an unexplained feeling of euphoria , whilst my middle aged wife has suddenly stopped listening to Radio 4, instead preferring the sub bass riddims* of Jamaican beat music. (* Riddim is Jamaican patois for the word Rhythm she now tells me) Do the panel have any tips as to what this mysterious weed is and where can we get some more ? Concerned, Hertfordshire.
Hello and welcome to gardeners hour hear on wfcf fm. The most effective organic approach is to weaken the plant by hoeing it wherever it appears in beds or borders, or to dig it out using a fork or trowel. If it establishes itself in the lawn you will have to dig out chunks of grass to get it out effectively, but you can hold it at bay by keeping the lawn healthy and thereby making conditions less favourable for the yarrow. Top-dress the lawn in spring and in September, mow it regularly and lightly rake when in growth to weaken the weed. Yarrow is fairly resistant to many selective weedkillers, but in lawns, use a weedkiller such as a 2, 4-D-based herbicide to remove the weed. Apply in cool, moist, calm conditions when there is least risk of accidentally damaging nearby garden plants. I hope that helps, and be sure to come back and tell us how you get on. Remember, Yarrow never on your own when your lawn is overgrown! Now time for some messages from our sponsors...
Your surrounding soil looks very nutrient deplete. I would suggest a good, all purpose fertiliser and regular watering, or maybe you are watering too much, yes, that is the usual answer to any question.
Thermonuclear weapons ought to eradicate it to a decent level. Best try two a couple of hours apart just to be sure. Don't apply this advice when it's raining however - the results could be a bit of a disaster.
Can’t see Wague starting simply because I doubt he is due to step into Watford at all until at least tomorrow. Leaves very little time for a player who has played 2 internationals in Mali and Morocco and knows none of his teammates let alone defensive partners. Maybe on the bench but I would be very very surprised if he starts.
Yeah that'd make sense. Rarely does a new player start a game right off, either. A lot depends on how Prodl is. Hopefully it's just a small knock. I don't think there's any question that Gomes will start in goal.
More confident about this than the Brighton game. Southampton will feel they have to attack, and so we can pick them off on the counter as they start to over-commit. 0-2 to the Hornets.
