You have this agenda against me and you’ve had it for years. I’ve always let it slide, but enough is enough. It’s bizarre but I can do nothing about how you post. You did the same thing a couple of weeks ago, and now I’ve called you out on it, you’ve gone quite defensive and nasty. The entire thing has been caused you and your other alias accounts. Just bonkers. I’ve only got one person on my ignore list, but I will put you also on it to save the forum from this nonsense. Please can you PM your other accounts so I can put them on ignore too. Thanks.
I am new here. Despite supporting my hometown team a long time. A few people here need to learn manners. Imagine you are talking face to face, then I reckon, all the bickering would stop. Sure, we are playing ***** "in this moment!" However, let's be respectful.
Yeah i need a new schtick. We can't even say 'I told you so,' because apparently that's no good. Any ideas?
I’d suggest leave each to their own. I’d rather read HB1 output than your “funny” new threads that only have one post.
Millwall away - a game for a bit of character and ********, instead after two minutes a player turns his back to try and avoid being hit by a ball and the keeper dives over it. Cowardly from Asprilla, poor from Hamer. Dennis was abysmal. Lewis somehow is still managing to get worse every week. Kone, Martins, TDB all powderpuff as is the norm for them now. Good away day other than the football…
Before every game Watford practice a routine of quick one-touch passing between several players, culminating in a pass out to a wide man who puts in a low hard cross for a striker to finish. They never do anything like this in a match. Today it actually looked like they have completely forgotten how to attack. The first half was the familiar tapping the ball around in their own half to no effect - despite being a goal down. The second little better until the last 15 minutes or so when they did build up some pressure, but still with very few, if any, meaningful goal attempts. I was surprised at how poor Millwall also were. When they took the lead after 3 minutes I expected them to overwhelm us by three or four goals but it never happened, which only goes to show had bad Watford were that they couldn’t take advantage. On the plus side, the development of Rajovic continues. Now he can do two things on a football pitch: tap the ball into the goal from 2 yards and fling a long throw into the box, aiming for the big centre-forward… Oh.
Luther is embarrassing himself recently. No one else willing to say it? I think he peddles decent causes - but my god, he's gone into overdrive in recent weeks. And done't get me started on his naive alignment with that Brimson bloke. He needs to do some homework and not be blinded by 'patriotism'.
I'm just sat on the lav having a shyt thinking how much FUN I'm having in this league. It's EXACTLY like all you people who were praying for our relegation from the premier League said it would be. It's s nothing but EXCITEMENT and FUN, every week! Don't be shy, all those praying for this should speak up now, I'd love to know if you're having as much FUN as I am.
It's fun. I like a bit of relegation peril personally. Get the arsholes twitching. Will we stay up? Will we be relegated? Oh no! QPR are winning! Danger! Adds a bit of excitement to the end of the season rather than the meaningless mid-table end of season games we were heading for. However I am still confident in my pre-season prediction of a finishing place of 12th.
I don’t think a single one of the players yesterday can have their head held high this morning. I’m perfectly happy to accept we don’t have the level of players who can change a game in the blink of an eye, like previously, but the minimum I expect is effort. From the moment Millwall scored the game was up and that was after 3 or 4 minutes. We never seriously looked like getting back into it. Not a fan of certain players looking confused and making ‘calm down’ motions to fans after the game - we’ve paid our money, some of us travel the country watching this team so we’re entitled to let them know when they let us down. I have absolutely nothing to say about Val that hasn’t already been said. He’s a busted flush and if we want to avoid a genuine relegation battle we need to get rid. I hope Gino and his bum chums Scott and Mogi got plenty of food for thought yesterday.
So here are my takes from the visit to Satan's ******** yesterday: 1. Millwall fans are funny. In a Danny Dyer sense of knowing they look like gammons but stick to the characature regardless. The faux anger at everything, the threats, the hand gestures, the menacing songs and death stares. I spent the first few minutes laughing at them and missed the goal (as some of the fake Stone Island wearing muttons did too as they were too busy being really really angry). Overall they were pretty quiet. We probably bored them to sleep more than pressured though. 2. Some of our players care - Hoedt never stopped trying. He was everywhere even trying to be a winger and get crosses in. Keep him next year at all costs please. 3. Livermore played like his age has really caught him now. He dropped deep to get the ball but played some shocking passes to others that were really sloppy. I'd guess he needs some bench time but is still in as we have no other leaders. 4. Sema is clearly not fit after his injury. He's missing a yard of pace, his passes and crosses are short. His corners....eurgh. 5. Dennis was all strapped up on his leg like a bondage party and shouldn't have played injured. His first touch was abysmal. His crossing even worse. 6. Subs - Half time warm up saw Kone have a fairly intense warm up with a coach. Val then brings on TDB who didn't come out to warm up at all. Baffling. 7. Asprilla got battered but never gave up even though he didnt have the best of games. Enjoy him in these last 11 games. 8. Players pirouetting - they all do it. It's stupid. Even Hamer did it. Just go forwards you bloody bottlers!!!!! 9. Luther did the charity sleep out at the Vic then drove to the Den. I know this because we saw him parking up in the car park. What a legend. 10. Our fans - please can we never try and sing Blowing Bubbles again to get a rise out of Millwall. It was lame. 11. The ref was a bottler. Gave a yellow first minute then let a few slide for them including a filthy one on Asprilla that looked two footed.
It was dire. The worst thing was the fact Millwall didn't push on and score a second, meaning we stayed and endured the entire shambles. We are terd.
It takes two to tango. 99% of HB1s posts are in direct response to you arguing with him. You can't blame him for waffling on when all his waffling is simply in response to your waffling.
Quite right. If Millwall had scored at any point in the second half I would have gone home. (And I normally never leave early.) There was no way we were scoring two goals from 2-0 down, but at 1-0 there’s always the forlorn hope of a fluked equaliser.
We discovered Dennis Healy had a long throw in, and shortly afterwards he was history,. Could this be the last days of the Raj?
Indeed, Val’s disappointment at us discovering an effective set piece and one that doesn’t involve the ball going back to the keeper or staying with the CBs.
This whole thing kicked off because it was pointed out he flip flopped on it and then everyone who disagreed with him is supposedly an Alt account. He probably has turned out to be right, as we may get sucked into a relegation battle. But its far less of a win for HB than he thinks it is, as he gave up on that belief when we were winning games.
He may well be right. I need to be clear that I absolutely was not having a go at HB1 for voicing an opinion. I agree with a lot he says, I disagree with a lot he says. And I respect his opinion either way. What I was getting at yesterday was just how repetitive it is to see the "I told you so" posts after every single defeat. It starts to come across that he's revelling in the defeats as it provides another chance to say he was right.
Because your activity is a Stark contrast then to now. You've emerged from the woodwork and taken issue with someone 'harping on about being right' by forcing them to respond to a hundred posts saying they're wrong.
