    Jammy gits.

    Sheffield Wednesday got deducted points
    Rotherham lose a late lead

Yes, you're quite right, they lost to Wycombe as well. My bad.

3 defeats on the spin isn't good form heading into the play-offs. Would rather be in Brentford or Barnsley's position.

Ah yes. Good for them. Shame Cardiff equalised and Wayne Rooneys Derby survive. Sickening listening to the talksport commentary for just 5 minutes. I think they referred to Wayne Rooney more times in 5 minutes than Xisco gets in 5 games.

Yes, the only downside today was Cardiff scoring, would've been hilarious if both had gone down, but can't have it all I guess.

Derby will sack Rooney if they have any sense. Moral victory for Wycombe, if it had not been for a terrible start to the season they might have survived.Their last fifteen games a credit to their team spirit.

Horrible to see QPR and Luton improve on last year.

I see Pearson showing the man management and coaching class at Bristol City that we sadly missed this year.

Now just the playoffs to go. Fancy Barnsley and Brentford to slog out it out in the final. Failure togo up could be monstrous for Bmuff.

Bye Bye Championship. Good luck, but hope not to see you again soon.

Fascinating, the Toyota only manages 45 mpg

Wycombe finish 3rd from bottom, is that the highest they've been all season?

Sheff Wed's points deduction undid them in the end as most feared would be the case, but they can't complain - they knew what they might have to do when they were on -12, and were handed a minor lifeline when it was increased to -6, but they threw away yet another golden opportunity today and have dropped a colossal 29 points from winning positions this season.

Interesting to see how Bournemouth vs Brentford pans out in the play-offs with the former ending the season with three straight defeats and the latter finding some form at the right time, going 12 games unbeaten, especially after the recent fiery encounter at the Vitality Stadium. And it turns out we did need at least one more win after winning at Norwich!

Barnsley up in the play offs would be great but ultimately i'm in the 'anyone but Bournemouth' camp

I did want Brentford to go up, but with their knack of finding decent players they could be quite a threat with a much bigger budget, so it has to be Barnsley.

I do want Barnsley to go up. Although they may put their hands in their pockets as their owners are by far the richest out of all of the teams in the play offs. Their owners are worth around 9.1 billion according to a few internet sources.

To be fair from what I have gathered is Bournemouth have basically rested their team for the last two games.

Playoff final Muff vs Barnsley. Crookes dive in the 95th minute wins the penalty to send them up.

Seemed to be a strong side today but who knows how motivated they were.

Would be a good story if Barnsley beat Brentford in the play off final after beating them on the last game in the previous season to stay up.

Full strength side today from what I can tell, you're correct they rested a few last week against Wycombe though

Bournemouth always struggle against more organised physical sides ie Stoke and Cardiff. Brentford may suit them more. Either way I think it will be exciting for the neutral.

Just love that the two favourites are playing each other.

Really don’t like either Bmuff or Brentford, so it’s nice to know that one of them isn’t going to the final.

The playoffs are so unpredictable and the fact that they don’t happen until 9 days from now, is a massive gap. Form means nothing going into it. When your winning like Brentford, you want to keep playing, a 9 day break doesn’t help the in form team or the team who lost and wants to put it right. It’s a complete wash and start over now.

So glad I get to sit back and enjoy it.

Whichever one out of Brentford & Muff does not get to the final, we should definitely try and raid the losing team for some of their players.

Where are you getting that from? According to the in-depth Athletic piece on the Pacific Media Group, at least, that is the exact opposite of their approach:

So, if I understand this correctly, Gray is our most lethal goal threat.

The thing is, of Gray had been on the pitch instead of Troy and taken all our pens he’d be well into double figures for the season, and to the casual observer a semi-competent championship striker. Would’ve probably made him easier to sell.

Only if you consider the frequency with which a striker scores goals to be an important factor. It seems a lot of Watford fans judge a striker's ability by their media quotes rather than their goalscoring prowess. Personally, I expect Watford strikers to walk the walk not just talk the talk.

Wouldn't mind if Swansea went up, they're absolutely dreadful, so that's 6 points in the bag next season.
