We're going up as champions! Cheers! Hic... Hic... Only negative is not being in the stadium to see it. Memories aren't made of watching football on tv

The biggest question now is when is our promotion party going to be and who is going in the pond?

When Gray came on today I said to my family 'if HE scores it's definitely going to be our day'.

    It so was.

The Swans result just confirms it.

Feel like I watched a different Success. He's rusty yes but he puts himself about and mucks in defensively. He was involved in the goal too. The missed chance is where a player hasn't started in over a year. He'll take at minimum the whole run in to match fitness though at which point the Season'll be over.

We would be champions barring all the mess at the start of the season. Not getting a settled squad, Ivic overly negative, lack of replacements to immediately come in and a mistaken belief yet again Deeney was going to lead us to the land of mega money and Monday kick offs.

Chumlax, on the flip side of the flip side of the flip side lol, any of our players going off on international duty could return to us injured!

At the start of the season, we all hoped we’d be much better defensively at this lower level than the shambles of last season, but who in their wildest dreams ever imagined we’d be statistically the best defence in the division after 38 games of the season?

An incredible transformation. Achieved too along the way at times without a left-footed left back, our third choice keeper from last season, and a Udinese reject whose CV didn’t impress any of us when he joined and started off as 5th choice centre-back. He is on for my POTS vote by the way. Consistently excellent.

Maybe, but he is extremely lazy and immobile off the ball., and I didn't really see him trying to grasp his opportunity. He just didn't look hungry enough.

Excellent professional performance. What a great position the team have put themselves in. 2 weeks to recharge and then fly into the tricky run in. Well done Xisco, squad and Pozzo. Fingers crossed I am happy to be proved completely wrong.

True, but very few of those who are as important to us as Sarr and Zinck are, and I'd take them back as the result of voodoo place-swap sacrifices if it came down to it.

He looks like he is running through treacle and his defensive contributions were half-arsed at best. Would have been better off starting Pedro through the middle and play Ngakia on the right as he was very impressive when he came on.

9 wins out of 10, and the one which we lost we deserved a point at least. This is a truly special run of form, least of all considering it was from all but a standing start. Would any of us have predicted this when Deeney was flapping his bingo wings around like a demented madmen at Coventry, or Charlie fr*cking Austin was scoring the winner against QPR. Something massively changed and all credit to the team and management for realising we were at a watershed and we had to do something. I genuinely fell out of love with this team for a while but the love is back in bucketloads. We need to go up as I can't wait to see this team with additions next season. Credit to GP as well for plucking Gozzer and Sanches out of nowhere as they seem very shrewd signings much to mine and many others annoyance at the time.

Fingers crossed you never know. Norwich might have gone to the beach already. It is a shame we have thrown away points this season. It would be great to add a trophy to the cabinet.

You have to for the umpteenth time give him a little slack. Match fitness and sharpness do not come straight away for most players. He has talked the talk but he needs to walk the walk because this is his last chance for certain. He has the attributes but he has to give us production.

Great win again, without really looking our best.

Great to see Gray get a good goal, and I think he has shown that he probably deserves to start up front over Success if the need arises. Success was my only negative today even taking into account his match rustiness. I was really wanted him to do well but whilst I thought he showed some quality, I thought his attitude was poor - not what we need right now. But, I would love to be proved wrong, as I think if he can get his act together, he'll be an asset.

To win so comfortably after an mere average performance was heartening as I think we can still improve a lot and believe we'll do that against better opposition in the run in.

I said a few weeks ago that we could get 10 wins in a row. Muff spoilt that run unfortunately, but the loss didn't affect our attitude, whereas our nearest rivals have stuttered and poor results have followed poor results. I think we now have the stronger mindset than those two and it will carry us to promotion.

Norwich's strength of character will also be tested now with a two week break following their dropped points today. I may be wrong but I think they may also struggle to continue their good form after the break and that is without even looking who their opponents are.

    We shall see.

I do think Success is getting is head together now. He knows his reputation is in tatters given his previous behaviour with us and Malaga and he's not a young rising player anymore; it's now or never.

Another thing not mentioned yet. I liked the way Brum approached the game, always looking to play and get decent balls in, no theatrics etc. The ref had largely nothing to do and refreshingly invisible and let the game run.

Agree, it actually made it a half decent game to watch on TV. Granted winning 3-0 also helped...

If Gray does that another dozen times this season I might well change my opinion of him.
I'm loving the Deeneylessness of this team. S*n writing pr!ck.

I thought the ref was poor. He was hardly tested because the 2 teams got on with it without theatrics, but he didn't seem to know what was going on and mis-read situations. The classic was when a Watford player was badly fouled - clear yellow card - he played 'advantage rule' when there was no advantage, Watford lost the ball and then Success committed a minor technical foul and was booked. The Brum player was not booked. He got it wrong, wrong, wrong and then wrong again.

The ref correctly waved on, Success stupidly lost the ball 5 seconds later doing some weird twisty turny thing, then another 5 seconds later petulantly fouled the player, yes it was a softish yellow but allowing an attack to continue is why he didn't book the player for the foul on Gosling.

That's obviously not true. He didn't look match sharp but it was his clever lay off to Pedro that led to the first and his breaking of the offside trap (yes, and terrible touch) that led to the corner for the second. I want more from him and he wasn't great but he wasn't a disaster either.

But the ref should have booked their player at the next break in play. For a clear yellow card offence when Gosling was manhandled and hauled back even if he allowed play on advantage.

Would agree but if it gives Sarr, Zinckernagel and Masina time to recover from knocks then I think it benefits us. Really don't want Lazar starting games and we didn't have the same potency down the right without Sarr. Cleverley hopefully being back after the break gives us strength in depth too.

Why wouldn’t you want Lazaar starting matches? It’s not like there’s a crowd in the stadium at risk of being injured by one of his crosses. Lockdown protects the innocent.
