This was probably Adam Masina's last chance to show he can score goals at this level and he's come out fighting. Mas-iv!!

We’d get tanked in the Prem with 1 actual CM but as it’s not the Prem it’s lovely to watch that many technical / talented attack minded players together on the pitch.

They’ve broken Knockaert which is hilarious to watch and Andrews has slated him twice (once I’m fairly sure he used the word ‘cheat’).

And Pedro. What a player he is becoming. Out of position and only 19 and taking it all in his stride.

And final comment to Sarr who has smoked a Bong for 45 minutes.

 

That bong is really poor, need to keep targeting him. Decent first half, comfortable.

 

It worries me when we go into sleepy cruise mode, we could put these to the sword if we felt like it

Did we have two left-wingers playing centre mid? Yes.

Sanchez didn't look awful and Hungbo an academy prospect looked actually decent!

First half very impressive, second half very unimpressive. JP reacted incredibly well to that odd midfield free position, as he does in most things he does.

Hungbo's cameo was very, very encouraging - looks lively but also not brainless, which is surprising for one of our youthers.

A very important three points and we have a week's break now, finally.

Sierralta's aerial dominance protected us at the end even in that final ball when he smashed it up to Hungbo to see out the 20-30 seconds in the opponent's half.

 

I thought he did well in the "Cleverly role". Showed a lot of energy in the first half to break up their play.

Did fade in the second half but nobody can keep up the energy of Cleverly for 90 minutes other than the man himself.

 

Good result and half a good performance - dug deep and kept a clean sheet. Given the absentees, have to be happy with that

 

Hungbo a bonus cameo

 

He was very decent today and I presume you mean slow of thought on the ball, because he's definitely got a decent burst of acceleration.

 

A fantastic result and pretty strong performance given an entirely makeshift midfield.

Hungbo becoming a genuine option, lovely to see.

 

Yeah. Shame you missed the first half as it was genuinely good. We looked menacing and imposed ourselves on them throughout. Complete contrast with the second half, though first half yellow cards for Pedro and Zinc didn’t help.

 

Wasn't the prettiest. Got out with no reds after a couple of key players on yellows. Could have had more. Hungbo looks useful.
