We may end up having a lot to thank Ivic for, with his early cautiousness and rotation.

 

Watching Norwich now and think it’s too much of a stretch to hope they drop points as well, they are bartering Rotherham, should be about 5 up

 

Jordan Morris came on at the half for Swansea and he has already been stretchered off with what looks at first glance (apparently) like a very bad injury - the squad, and their attacking options, get smaller still...

 

As we know the championship is a marathon, you can't win promotion in the first half of the season (you can certainly be well out of the running though), see 2000/01 & 2007/8 but a great run in the second half will see you through, 1999 and 2015 spring to mind. Ivic may have been boring but we had a solid base of points to build on.

 

Amazingly enough it appears that they had already made all five of their subs - they are down to 10 men for the final half an hour!

 

If they could nick two I'm in the money having bet on Coventry, Huddersfield and Rotherham as an accumulator!!

Got to enjoy this weekend as there will definitely be weekends that go against us....


How are QPR so near the bottom? Beat us Brentford and now Muff in recent weeks and I thought they looked pretty good against us.

 

It looks increasingly like a fight for 2nd place. Never a dull league.

 

Muff and Reading must be looking nervously below right now.
