Though Norwich as I said earlier looks a write-off, on second thoughts there is a possibility Huddersfield could get something, poor though they've been of late. Just looked at the table and they are actually 20th after looking outsiders for a play-off push not that long ago, and if they lose and there's a winner in the Sheff Wed vs Birmingham game, they have to be quite concerned about relegation. So I think they'll battle hard to stay out of trouble to play Swansea at their own game possibly for a 0-0.

 

Will we be playing Thierry Henry’s Bournemouth almost straight after Wayne Rooney’s Derby County?

And Cardiff winning, could make things quite interesting around the play-offs if Barnsley win as well and Bournemouth don't.

Don't think Rotherham are going to get anything, they haven't had a shot on goal so far, but it'll be a very good weekend overall if results stay as they are.

So, in just three games we've closed up 9 points and 13 goals on Brentford....but we're still behind them!!.

It just goes to show how tough it is to close the gap. Even a remarkable sequence of three wins, including a 6-0, and three defeats for Brentford and we're still behind them.

All we can do is keep winning and hoping others fail.

Norwich winning and Swansea being held. These are the two we've got to chase down now, and they don't look like slipping up at the moment.

This is a really weird division.

QPR, who much of the season looked like relegation candidates have won four of their last five and could overtake Blackburn (who I had as favourites out of the chasing pack to get 6th place) and Bristol City if they win just one of their games in hand. Millwall who looked a poor side when they played us, like a team like Burton or Wycombe who's just come up from League 1, are above those two.

Beyond the top four who look pretty much fixed and Wycombe going down, I'm just not sure what to predict for any team anymore.

 

Unfortunately Huddersfield's goalkeeper remains as poor as ever and failed to stop Hourihane's free kick from a mile out...1-1 now.


It was this joker that failed to stop Captain Tom from advancing on his goal from a yard out. Not so confident anymore that Swansea might get turned over like we were in December.

Champo is mental!! Swansea have 6 outfield players over 2200 minutes and 2 games into a run of 16 games in 7.5 weeks. if they dont burn out they deserve to be champions! Hopefully they'll burn out.
