They actually have 3 wins since the beginning of December and have only lost twice. So the good news is we don’t have to be the team to kick start their season. Although we probably will.
Yes I went there once for the 3-0 but it was all painted blue, but the Devon white / RR game wasn't there it was outside Bristol.... Maybe I'm confusing it with Bristol City..? Went there twice, once with wife who who was tickled by the "who ate all the pies" chant we sent up for the chubby red faced lino...
We scored that many in one game away to their boys! https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/n...-trip-to-china-sees-watford-fc-reign-supreme/
Does feel absolutely pivotal this game, considering we've got a more difficult second half of the season, and we're already playing catchup (currently 3 off Swansea, but 1 behind Brentford having played a game more), it does feel like we can't afford to lose too many more games if we are serious about automatics. Barnsley was an OK performance, let's see if that was the start of something, or just another example of us spluttering along
Talking at crossed purposes, here. You are not wrong, but I said the canal in Watford is the same as the canal in Hemel, and is the same as the one in Berko. That's all. And, yes, it's the Grand Union.
Huge game for Xisco, if he can get a win here then perhaps he isn't the micky mouse manager we thought. We can also perhaps fire up HMS PTA
Can not believe zinc is on the bench and clevs is playing on the left. He’s obviously ready, great cameo against barnsley and he started weeks before that against united, so why not in the league? Very strange.
Not convinced Cleverley will be on the left. Think it might be 4-3-3 with Deeney up front with Sarr and JP playing slightly withdrawn on either side.
After all that freezing football within the Arctic Circle he's not ready for a balmy January night in Stoke.
4-3-3, I assume. If not, that's quite a lopsided midfield. If so, Deeney up front on his own is not great, but hey what can you do - he literally has to play for some reason. Zinckernagel not starting again just seems daft to me. Surely he's up to speed by now? I doubt he wasn't anyway! Thank goodness Gray's benched. Hope he stays there - forever. Narrow win or draw, I reckon. Maybe a 1-0 Deeney penalty thriller!
Deeney up front on his own i dont like that if true. PZ on the left would've been better, (if Cleverley aint doing it), supporting a front 2. Pedro will need to support Deeney up front otherwise another toothless away display will occur.
I'm glad Hughes wasn't benched. Glad Gray was. I very much doubt Deeney is a lone striker, probably full just behind Pedro for build up play. He seems more suited to the much maligned number ten roll. I expect we'll see Zinc SH.
I thought 4-2-3-1 was his preferred formation so this could be it. Apart from Zinc not starting I'm pretty happy with that
