Cleverley is damaged goods after so many injuries, there are naturally a lot of groans when he starts, but fair play, he's somehow managed to pick up some valuable goals this season. Today's one was a reward for his constant running if anything, you can't fault his attitude

**** performance against Udders' youth team. Nowhere near acceptable.

He cannot. Because the decisions are not made by him. The hierarchy are in love with Troy. He can do no wrong. And ergo his clique will be on the pitch. That means Gray and Chalobah.

They were the worst team we've seen in many years. Easy win. Would have been a good match to have been at. Nice and relaxing, no stress.

Whoa whoa whoa. Deeney and Gray are crap. Zero doubt about it. But let’s stop making out we create a load of opportunities. If we did make them I wouldn’t back them to put them away but our attacking threat from midfield and wide areas is woeful.

There will come a time when Deeney and Gray are not here and the screeching can stop, but whoever comes in for them will be living off scraps. Pedro got one shot away in the first half, from a defensive scramble and knock down. It was created by his prowess and nothing else. Our wide players get away with murder because of the obsession with Deeney and Gray.

I would have Pedro as first name on the team sheet every week, but he will need a partner and also some service.

I was thinking to myself this goalkeeper is never going to have a caeeer in football, but then Gray came on.

  9. First half was dire, absolutely appalling, a total stinker

Fair play to Clev for the first, and Pedro showing once again why he's our best #9 even at his age. Deeney was a yard behind and wouldn't have got it

I'd be tempted to play Clevs at 10 behind Pedro (with Chalobah and Hughes in the middle) as they are the only 2 scoring from open play at the moment

Chalobah excellent before he went off

    All still a bit meh

Boring first half, turned it up in the second and got a routine win.

Bread and butter for a team hoping to go up, I’m happy enough with that.

Entertainment wise that game was a pub lunch of tepid burger, soggy chips, and a limp salad. Does the job of feeding you but not much else with Gray being the maggot that's sneaked into the lettuce.

hard to say , perfect performance today , but he was t tested , looked good against Man U, one of the few areas on the pitch where we seem to be sorted.

Guess we will have a few more games to see what he is made of.

Just an idea, hear me out, anybody fancy volunteering to delay Deeney and Gray on match day, all you need to do is glue their door locks , or maybe a small accident on the way to the ground.

JP must start every game, unless he is showing fatigue on the JPS or whatever they use.
Some lovely touches from Sarr and a few good passes from NC.
Good second goal and good performances from Kiko and FS.
WTE looks good defending but his passing is not overly secure.
Credit to TC for the industry but what on earth was the keeper doing, thanks anyway.
I'm off to cleanse myself for being happy that Bournemouth lost!
Lovely tribute to SGT pre match and the 72 minute too.

Well done to Pedro for his goal and well set up by Kiko.

    MOTM.

Nice desire and commitment from Clev for the first - sure the goalie will get blamed but good on Tom for being alert.

Onto Barnsley who are a team in form so will need to be a bit sharper.

Happy with that. Good three points, Huddersfield were poor, but not as poor as Mr Gray was in his cameo appearance.

Apparently there was some beef between Sarr and Pedro near the end? Time for the ITK squad to deliver...

Sounds good. May not be enough to get his place back from Pedro though.

Agree about Pedro. The way he pulls off tricky skills with ease and his instinctive understanding of where to go and run into is something else. Hope he and Zinckernagel can form an understanding. It's our only hope. Another game where these top class Championship strikers Gray and Deeney have failed to score. But of course it will all come together for them next week according to some.

We were ok really. Created a few chances and looked comfortable at the back for 90 minutes. Didn't think Deeneys yellow was a red, Fraziers fouls a few moments later was worse.

Ekong and Sierallta were very good, Chalobah did well. Deeney didnt do much wrong really but Andre Gray was abysmal when he came on.

I would cash in on Sarr now. If Palace are interested bite their hands off. They do seem to adore flaky over rated wingers who fall over every 5 minutes and pull faces at the ref.

It’s incredible really that the transfer speculation is all about Sarr nd rarely about Pedro. I’d be far more bothered about Pedro leaving.

When Deeney and Gray leave, the moaning won't stop seeing as their wages mean we won't be able to sign a decent replacement! ;)

Sadly it is a matter of time. He was known about beforehand and other teams have him marked down. It was a coup to get him as we did. The way we are carrying on would any future football star want to stick around ? Not a chance.

But Deeney the all powerful, all knowing master of ceremonies is his chum. Xisco knows what happened to Ivic, knows the hierarchy worship the Deeney. So little chance until both sod off into the blue yonder.

Just tell Deeney that lunch for the board has finished and the remainder of the sandwiches have been left on the Table outside. That should hold him for 5 mins.

I suppose, JP is an incredible talent, but he has been understandably inconsistent for us. When Sarr leaves, I think we'll all be a bit sad he couldn't quite fulfil his potential with us (unless he goes on a storming run until the end of the season and fires us to promotion and rips up the Prem!), but it will be really sad when JP goes as he's a real talent

He is probably barely literate let alone compos mentis. The only thing he will be reading is the plans for a new underground pool at his next residence. Gollum . Gollum.

Yet Sarr has been consistent this season - consistently average. If Gray is worth £18m and Sarr is worth £50m then I reckon I’m worth a few quid as well.

Sadly, both are nowhere near their respective price tags.

JP suggesting that If Sarr would stay on his ******* legs we might get closer to scoring.

don’t get me wrong Sarr has talent , but as it’s GT day, can you imagine what GT would say about his acrobatics , he really is our very own Zaha

edit: mind you what would GT make of Deeney
