I have to change my opinions...I’ve supported the Pozzos to date but poor management decisions, really inadequate recruitment, tinkering with squad formation and a creation of a toxic environment has led to watching this shower of sh£te

Too many mistakes when a final ball/composure in the area was needed.
So many dropped points in the last 8 days and these things catch up with you.
If we don't beat Stoke then it wouldn't surprise me to see Ivic out.
I like what he is trying to do but the players are letting him down.

    Barnsley poor Mooney says.

Well as we didn’t test their goalie once goodness knows what that makes us!

Maybe that is the trouble- too arrogant?

Thinking we just have to turn up to win.

We've taken 1 point from Wycombe and Barnsley and couldn't manage a single shot on goal today, despite being behind for 85 minutes. Its not just this game either, we've been poor all season and only a combination of poor opposition finishing + a talented teenager bailing us out has papered over the cracks

We're playing 5 at the back in every single game, no matter the calibre/style of the opposition and we're simultaneously playing our best player out of position, as well as starting games without a proper centre forward on the pitch, despite having about 15 on our books

I gave Ivic the benefit of the doubt due to the Pozzo's disgraceful failure to sign him a left back, but that goodwill has run out now. He is a negative, stubborn and cowardly manager and I seriously hope he is sent packing ASAP

Absolutely disgraceful performance from back to front. Particularly dreadful were Chalobah, Cleverly and Sarr. Shameful lack of application with performing basics.

Add to this a dreadful limited inflexible negative manager who will not shift from 3 at the back even if he plays Capoue there.

This club is rotten to the core and it won’t change until Pozzo is gone. We are going nowhere this year.

Having missed the wycombe game, i really thought peoples criticism of ivic was knee jerk. But dear god, we are playing the least expansive football in the division against relegation teams ans scoring less goals than we are playing games

Really unlucky today. Undone by a wonder goal and dodgy refereeing. Other than that, Barnsley didn't lay a glove on us. On another day it could have been 0-3, if some of our passes had gone to players in attacking positions, who had then put dangerous balls into the box, which were subsequently finished, 3 times. It's just swings and roundabouts at the end of the day.

Ivic knows what he wants from the team. He's starting to get us playing really nice, attractive stuff, but it takes time for such flowing, beautiful football to be implemented.

Also really positive to see Gray and Hughes come on. Both showed vast amounts of quality. HMS Piss The League sails onward!

  18. Every manager deserves time to build the side playing the football they want but it's hard to be patient with this.

We can't play out from the back because our CBs simply aren't good enough with the ball, they treat it like a hot potato. Only Wilmot has any confidence with it.

And we can't go long because Deeney can't be bothered anymore, Perica is continually banned or injured, and Murray should be put out to grass. We're neither one thing or the other.

But the worst thing for me isn't the formation or the defence or the attack or building from the back, the worst thing is the central midfielders. Not once have they dominated a game, retained possession, or transitioned at pace. It's all sideways and backwards. Capoue, Chalobah, Garner, Clevs, and Quina have been collectively shocking.

Sarr and Pedro are feeding off scraps.

We don't have anywhere to go from here - we can't change yet another coach.

Barnsley were so awful technically. And, like Wycombe, they beat us. No shots on target against bloody Barnsley.

Our manager set us up to fail yet again.

Three players out of the action against one of the worst sides in the league, marking no one. Two wingers up front, with only one ever getting in the middle.

You could see how much better we looked when we put Capoue back there, as he could pass forward rather than sideways. But it is clear we need to change formation. There was simply no excuse for not playing 4 at the back, with such little opposition threat.

Ivic needs to change formation against the worst sides, or he needs to go.

Always some weird attitude issues, the feeling of unrest, broken unity and dodgy smell hanging over us.

Wilmot the best of a very bad bunch.
    Failure to do the basics.
Sarr was poor but he was not alone.

So I got told (nicely) this week that I was being too negative after Wycombe.

    Ok, so what’s changed today?

    Another total borefest.

Another blank in front of goal. That’s only once so far this season in 11 matches in league and cup that we’ve scored more than once.

Another non-clean sheet. At first they looked the rock we were basing our hopes of a good season on, but we’ve conceded now in each of our last four matches. So we don’t even have that to fall back on now.

Tepid up front. Wobbly at the back. And still not look right in midfield.

We are sinking into mid-table oblivion.

Ivic is starting to look very limited.

It’s just awful. Even under Pearson we’d score a few occasionally and have something good to enjoy.

Right now we are just a few days away from the misery of another lockdown (that the government were told to do a few weeks ago but thought they knew best...so now we are going to have to have a longer one than we could have had) and we don’t even have the distraction of watching entertaining and winning football.

But fine, call me over-negative if you want.

    Keep clutching at those straws.

    And stay healthy.

My bed is beginning to dampen.

Wilmot slating himself in the post match interview, which is a bit harsh, especially as his midfield and attack couldn't string two passes together.

I like Ivic, but he needs to stop the ineffective playing out from the back. He has almost no options up front to choose from, which was further highlighted today. What can he do to get them to pass properly??

Pozzo has had some major **** ups over the years but he's given Vlad a squad in the Championship containing Sarr, Pedro, Capoue, Chalobah, Hughes, Foster, Sema and several others who are decent for this level. Left back or no left back, Ivic should be able to find a system and tactics to be able to have a shot on target against Barnsley

Painful and pathetic. We are very, very poor. Pedro and Sarr should be ashamed of themselves. They are either sulking or they are just not good enough. I would take £25m for Sarr now. Perhaps there is a disconnect between the manager and the players. Some of the players don’t seem to playing for anyone, be it their team mates, the fans, the manager, the owners. I’ve mentioned it before, but maybe the players need sports psychologist sessions.

That was shocking. Ivic is under pressure now. We've not played well enough this season, we are far too cautious and toothless upfront.

3-5-2 is not working. Ivic took too long to change it. 75 minutes before making obvious changes. It's just not good enough.

Extremely disappointed after seeing this. Barnsley are crap, Wycombe are crap......but we are worse.

The opposition know they've only got to score the first goal to beat Watford. Never in a month of Sunday's were we going to score today.

If Ivic cannot find a better solution than this, then he's not the man to take us forward. As far as I'm concerned he has two games to save his job. Another sh1t show against Stoke and Coventry and he's gone, as it's the international break. You know what Gino does then.

Barnsley keeper not having a shot to save despite WFC being behind for pretty much the whole game so having every incentive to attack. But for Ivic we only concede one goal so job done. Unforgivable. Get this negative clown out before it’s too late.

Well that's our promotion charge ended. Ended until we get a striker and a left back, and a manager who adapts to what the situation is.

No attacking threat whatsoever all game. No willingness to get on the ball and create something. Such a putrid awful formation with no ideas of how to change it. We are relying on Wonder goals to even score. We have zero build up play, and never looked remotely interested in equalizing today.

We are slipping down towards where we will finish, mid table to lower half. Unless we get a drastically different approach to games we will continue to lose. Coventry will probably win in our next game. Why? Because Ivic will play 3 at the back with no width and won't even give Murray or Gray a sniff.

I thought we were bad at Wycombe, this worse as an overall effort.
