I'm a massive critic of his, but yes looks a touch sharper, and linked well with Quina and the other mids.
Yes, missed out TDB as well - Him and Quina seem to compliment each other. Only one game mind, but this isn't a weak Spurs side by any means.
Its been so nice to watch a watford game where our players havent pulled out of challenges. pereya & kiko especially could be devils for it
A friendly match result dont mean much but some feedback on the style of play under new manager when match is over would be appreciated as im not watching.
Sounds like Ali would have had a red in a league game for hacking into Joao Pedro “in frustration”. Nasty little sh*t isn’t he?
Hugely positive, especially before the mish-mash of substitutes. Ngakia, Estupinan, Chalobah, Joao Pedro look very good. Solid performances across the board first half. Murray and Peñaranda looked a bit off the pace. Like the style of play for sure. Need Suarez to be fit for Friday.
Horrid challenge. Grim bloke kicking 18 year olds because his career is circling the drain and he is losing to Watford in a pre-season friendly while England are about to play Iceland.
My first reaction was "that's a straight red". I'm sure it would have been if it had been a Watford player the ref hadn't heard of before.
It was poor. Really unprofessional. Fair play to JP, gave him a decent kick in revenge shortly after.
Dreadful. That has to be a red irrespective of whether a friendly. Gutless work from the referee there.
Fast one touch triangles, play out from the back, lots of width from Estupinan and Ngakia, lots of switching side to side. Zola's Watford mk 2 but a bit more street smart. Still raw and needs much work but we're in for a treat this season.
