Enough now chaps of this who should post where. Use your common sense please. Bitte schon. Grazie mille etc etc.
It relates to both. I might post it there as well. Because of the source I thought it was probably too much b****cks to warrant its own thread.
He was absolutely shocking. In Norway he looked very good though. Even got a good turn of pace for a big fella. I have no doubt he will come good.
Left wing or right wing. I'd suggest as a compromise, best to post in a more central thread, so try the Deeney thread ?
Depay has been mooted as Sancho's replacement but if Sarr were to leave and develop to his absolute peak, Dortmund would be a perfect club for him. Speaking of which, I wonder if we're entitled to a small portion of the Sancho fee. I think all tribunal-based transfers have a sell on for all subsequent transfers, if only 1% ish.
I think we got some sell-on when Sancho went from Man City to Dortmund. No idea why we'd still have one now, maybe City might get a sell-on fee but that's it.
If we had a 1% sell-on, then that would cover all fees City get. So if they get 10% of the fee from Dortmund, we get 1% of that (so 0.1% total of Dortmund’s fee).
On 100m, 100k? If the club don't want it, I could do with a few bob swung my way. Amazing how literally peanuts for a club is so much money.
Is Sarr going to be the next John Barnes and **** off to Liverpool. As mentioned a few times on her, I ******* hate Liverpool (well mainly their fans) - based on a **** article that said Liverpool have made contact with Sarr’s representatives
I look forward to Sarr turning out for Liverpool and all the pundits saying what a great find he is and how well Liverpool have done etc etc... our role will be forgotten.
Liverpool can do one. No doubt trying to get Mane to whisper sweet nothings into his ear. Then come in with a low ball offer near the end of the transfer window to try and get him on the cheap. Typical shabby Liverpool approach. Would not expect anything less. Gino needs to stand firm if they do come in. £50M and a player. Plus they can have Sinclair back.
I would be amazed if Liverpool made an offer. £40-50m on essentially a backup winger isn't how they roll. Not sure there will be many big money deals in this economic climate, particularly for players that aren't first-team ready. We may get lucky in that respect although I envisage a few clubs will try to loan instead to cut costs.
I dont think anyone is going to want to pay what we would rightly want for him in the midst of the current global *******.
I personally doubt Liverpool will offer too much for Sarr if at all especially because of what happened with Timo Werner
Sorry mr Klopp you can’t have Sarr for that price, but you can have Deeney and Gray as a 2 for 1 bargain, Deeney is a bit long in the tooth , but Gray has hardly been used so good as new
i would think the pozzos would say no to anything less than 50m. i dont see liverpool offering that its not their style. everton are going to be much more frugal and wolves would only be interested if traore goes. i guess that leaves west ham if zaha goes but is it worth it? they could easily go down next year.
didn’t we buy him for 27m , 3m profit doesn’t seem much with the interest apparently being shown , would have thought we would want at least £40m or loan out to cover salary and cash in next year or bring back to Watford - however I know nothing about the football business and the above would assume Ponzzo could afford to keep that kind of money tied up for a year
