    As much as I want Giraldi fired, purely because he is a cancer to this club, if this appointment means him sadly staying, but feckin off away from first team affairs, then that’s a plus.

    68 yellows and 7 straight reds in 301 Serie A games. Also scored 119 goals in that time too. Could also take a set piece. Maybe he can teach our lot of no hopers.

    Anyway, seems like a bit of a nutter. Exactly what this club and team needs. Im all for it.

    Cristiano Lucarelli seems to be a controversial character who sometimes brought his political beliefs onto the pitch. He is reported to be an admirer of Che Guevara and an open supporter of communism. I can think of one poster on this forum who might have been pleased by his appointment, but I think that the club may have dodged a bullet if he has been appointed as the new Ternana coach.

    Cristiano Giaretta makes much more sense as a possible candidate in view of the fact he has already been a Sporting Director at Udinese (2013-16) and he appears to have just finished his contract as Sporting Director at CSKA Sofia.
