Indeed. The fact that we've developed so many prospects under the Pozzos makes me the think the player is the problem.
Imagine if there was a Sarr relegation clause where we got him for free if we inconceivably went down, and the Pozzos have been masterminding this from the start of the season. And they sacked Pearson because he almost saved us and ruined their plan.
Looks like some of us forumites are famous over on the Birmingham Live website! Quotes from some of us on there. I didn't give permission... https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/little-hope-left-cling-to-18662190
No-one talking about Bournemouth staying up. They have just a greater as us and Villa. Seems to be this weird it’s either Watford Villa. Meanwhile Bournemouth are just being left out. Wouldn’t be surprised to see us and Villa both lose out and they stay up.
They did this when we played Villa before. Must be a regular thing they do for easy media and clickbait.
Well the bed wetters will be out in force tonight but us real fans know we got the points we needed when we beat Newcastle. The others were never going to get another point. Villa are ****!
Bournemouth considering compensation claim over costly Hawk-Eye error in Aston Villa's favour | @JWTelegraph
Honestly, Hawkeye shouldn't be the ones being sued, if a lawsuit materializes. VAR dropped the ball there. Hawkeye isn't infallible, nor have they billed it as such. The VAR crew have zero excuse for getting it wrong. They get to re-watch things as many times as they want from multiple angles, and at any speed.
We should also be making a claim against VAR! Take the Spurs game for instance. We were 1-0 up until the 93rd minute when Dele Ali CLEARLY handballs it to score which ultimately cost us 2 points! VAR even acknowledged after the game that it was a technical fault in its communications to the referee (remember the big screen said ‘no goal’ and the referee thought he was told to give the goal?). That is far worse than the Hawkeye Villa scenario as there was still another half to play! In our game at Spurs it was the last kick of the game!
Well it wasn't quite the last minute but do remember they admitted a technical error. Also did they admit we should have had a penalty to go 2-o up? I agree we certainly had more then our share of bad calls . Also agree even if that goal had been given it's not certain Villa would have lost .
The failure to give the penalty for the foul on Deulofeu was much worse than the Alli goal being awarded. Remember that was the last time VAR refused to overrule anything the on-pitch referee decided.
Haha I just read that Birmingham Live thing. Seems I inspired their headline. They got my name wrong though. Left off the 2! Every cloud though..I’ve been asked to officially open a new shop in Solihull tomorrow and hired for a nightclub PA at the weekend.
Yes, but we were just one of many sides that had that issue! However, we were the only side that were f**ked over by a ‘technical’ fault with VAR where the communication broke down between Stockley Park and Tottenham Stadium. That’s the point.
@The undeniable truth well done sir, you truly made me laugh with this one. 'The undeniable truth: I will be outside the stadium with all the real fans and a bunch of fireworks (and my flag) ready to celebrate our historic escape.'
