I feel a little like we're closer to relegation than we were before the game yesterday. A truly horrific result tonight.
Sadly, that's us down unless we manage to pull something out the bag, which I can't see happening. **** you palace. **** you Leicester.
This is no one's fault but our own We wouldn't have to rely on decent refereeing or other teams putting in an effort to beat our rivals if we'd bothered to turn up against Burnley and Southampton. We've been pathetic this season and, unless we show some spirit and get some results in the next 3, we deserve to go down.
Bmouth aren't world beaters all of a sudden. Schmeichel gifts and a sending off in 120 seconds. Freakish.
Probably a slight overreaction, but we are certainly in far more danger now than I expected us to be by the end of today's games. West Ham has suddenly gone from a must not lose to a must win.
Could muff get 4 points from Everton & soton, which is what they would need to DO? Hard one to predict. I thought muff were really poor until handed a confidence booster by Leicester.
Well Leicester should be going for the Champions league. Ok they have a man sent off but should they collapse like this.
It’s going to be just like the Championship title, isn’t it? Bournemouth are going to relegate us on the final day, in the dying minutes.
Should have been 5-1 I thought Villa might win and Bournemouth might get a draw but didn't see this happening. Schmeichel thrown the match. I hope they screw up their European chances. Always hated Leicester. We really do need to beat West Ham now. You can never trust football. Teams that have not won for ages, suddenly start winning from nowhere. Just 3 points behind us, and clawed back 3 goals of GD.
Just fell apart and Bournemouth took advantage. When a team falls apart against us, we help them out by not winning.
Everything’s conspiring to send us down. I suppose I’d better start trying to kid myself that, really, it’s what I want,
Results didn't go our way. That's all. Saying we are down coz of that I'm not having that. Not yet anyway.
The only positive is the Ake injury Muff may well now stay up with 1 win from either Everton or Saints. They now have a better run in than us! Villa result was unfortunate but bearable, this one tonight was disastrous
Wish I didn't like football. Yesterday I was happy and thought we were probably safe. Today i'm in a mood and have resigned myself to relegation.
Have a word with yourselves. Spam are no better than us, and this is the worst Arsenal side in years and is likely to be on the plane. It's all still in our own hands.
The most Watford thing is about to happen. Lose to West Ham, but somehow beat Arsenal and Man City. I can dream
4-1 to Bournemouth. We are down for sure now. Man City need to put 5 past them to give us a chance to stay up.
A nice summary here: 'So, Eddie Howe is a football genius (again) and now also a sorcerer. In 25 mins - the oppo GK cocks up twice - one oppo CB’s brain malfunctions - the ball bounces into the net off the other oppo CB - the oppo LB chips in with an assist - Solanke trebles his PL goal tally' When you're lucks in... The kind fo freak result that gives confidence. Not like our two penalties...
That's West Ham who beat Chelsea and have a striker who just scored four in one game. I won't even list what we did by comparison as you know already.
My stress levels are all over the shop. Part of me wishes we were in Norwich’s position - down and out already so we could now relax and come to terms with the idea of next season in the Championship. The other part is still desperately clinging to the hope that we might yet claw our way out of this. It would be very “Watford” to lose against West Ham, but then get an unlikely result against Arsenal on the last day. Then again, it would also be very Watford to have lost by an enormous margin against City in between so that, despite the result against Arsenal, we get relegated by our appalling GD.
Always suspected that there would be a couple of freak results before the end of the season so I'm not too surprised. The thing that hurts the most is yesterday was the first time all season we had a tiny bit of breathing space and it's been immediately snatched away from us.
We are not down we are still 3 points clear of Bournemouth and 4 clear of Villa ! Bournemouth lose to Man City and Villa fail to win against Everton and suddenly things look a lot better and remember those games are before our next match. If Villa do win against Everton then WH is a must win match but if they fail to win I believe a draw is realistically enough to keep us up regardless of the final two matches.
