Sheffield: some great boozers, good ale, friendly people, nice neighbourhoods, good walks up into the hills countryside from the city. Disappointed the away game is on 26 December. But, Sheffield just can't compete with the architectural splendour of downtown Watford, a fine pint of Benskins, and a hike up the Grand Union to Hemel Hempstead Heights. QSF to start with another line up to fool the opposition, outwit the pundits, and confound the fools on this forum. Roll a dice. We have got to win a game at some point soon.
Dunno what QSF can do to be honest. Last game he pretty much played the team most people want. Our defensive unit is beneath the standard required and compounded by Doucoure and Capoue being below last season standard.
I watched their match against Liverpool and was very impressed by them. Have no doubt they will beat us comfortably.
I have an idea. Why don't all certified WFC forum members all meet up on Saturday after the game? Inside the graveyard opposite the ground.
If you beat these will you all stop wetting yourselves and suggesting that you sack every single member of staff including Harry the Hornet?
I would like a scimitar line up to Wolves, but maybe Kabs in for Dawson and Quina for Doucoure. Maybe if we win we will hear Cley more, telling Nath off etc. If we lose this, it will foil any hopes of survival. I'm too nervous to drink at all before the match so will be stone cold sabre.
How I would love our players to have the passion and commitment yours did yesterday. I love seeing Steve Bruce's sides get destroyed, it seems Newcastle are jusf as bad as us, no wonder we almost beat them.
One win, that’s all Watford need. Sheffield United really aren’t that good, they sum up Yorkshire quite well actually. Lots of noise, great at telling people how special they are and their manager does a good line in crossing his arms and ‘telling it like it is’. They’ve got what Wolves had last season in that they’re a bit different in terms of shape, do a couple of specific things well and have a manager they trust. What they don’t have is any particularly good players. You’ve been **** this season, no two ways about that. It might work in your favour against these though because they won’t be up for it.
You'll hear from me either way. Seems like a whole negative thread got taken down yesterday after a 'bit of a barny'. And maybe a couple of others too. A development that I'd describe as 'a result'.
We will have to be en garde for them breaking quickly. If the guests win this match then it's pretty much RIP 'ostes
Just one though I found interesting foible. Its the weaker end 1/3 of a sword coming to mean a minor character failing.
