The happy clappers on this forum have truly lost the plot. They must be pulling their hair out, desperately searching for positives tonight considering the absolute s**t state we are in.

Looking at your posts on the game today, you seem oblivious to our form. What is the point in slagging off other members just because they feel Watford were an embarrassment today? Not sure what you seem to be aiming at or your point. Do you watch Watford at all? I mean actually go to the games? It wasn't about the players. It was about the club. I've attended both our club's Cup Finals. It was very tricky to get tickets for all the extended family in 1984. Why check into the Shard? On the plus side, the media are hammering the players for their spineless, piss poor efforts today. If Flores has learnt anything today then it’s we can’t put out a team to defend, we are woeful at the back, absolutely dreadful. If the tactics are damage limitation and don’t have any forwards then the ball just keeps coming back. We went cautious against Arsenal and were 2 down at halftime, but when we went for it in the 2nd half we look decent. That said it is difficult to see us getting out of this unless the players man up a bit, they have looked fragile for a while and today will just add to the problem
Really? I find that hard to believe. The club could not give a toss about the fans. They are not interested in your opinion, my opinion or anyone else on this forum. That is just the business of professional football.
Jeez I though the season we got relegated from Division 1 (the Championship) was a low point for me in the 90’s and the 99/00 season. But we are starting to push it close now this season.
Looking at the interview Flores gave, he looked a beaten man already. I guess it’s hard to put a positive spin on an 8-0 defeat, but I didn’t hear any solutions. His great strength is/was sorting out the defence and making sides hard to beat, I get the feeling he’s going through a difficult time himself as a coach. He tried lots of things out in China without success. He ended his spell poorly at Espanyol. Sometimes I think people need a rest. I get the feeling he needed that before Watford came calling. He felt the opportunity too good to turn down but there has to be a lot wrong in order for the team to be so bad as they were today. We played like a Conference side. Ok he’s not been with us for long, but are we so bad that we need everything changing? Surely just a tweak in the right places would sort us out. It wasn’t that long ago we were pretty decent. 8-0 defeats just cannot happen without consequences.
I would agree and there are teams that would would have the guts to turn today into a positive , and show some real fight in the coming games. My concern with our team is that they don’t have the testicles for the fight and today will have an adverse reaction.

Unfortunately our squad is a peep of cowards. So many gutless individuals. It has manifested itself in downing tools at end of seasons before and numerous thumpings. This season the whole season is imploding and the malingerers do not have a good start to fall back on.
Well Foster himself should take some of the blame - a goal down early on and he goes diving in on an attacking giving away a penalty and within seconds its 2-0. I mean we hardly gave ourselves a chance - not seen the goals but presume our midfield was missing in action.
To be pretty honest if we’d lost 3-0 or 4-1 I’d have had good day out. To collapse so comprehensively left me also impotent.
I bet the players are putting up less of a fight with each other as a few are on here after defeats. A few lame hand slaps, headphones on and see you Monday’s no doubt.

interesting. What do you find hard to believe? That I was around in 1984? Do you resent that? That tickets were hard to get? For an extended family. Not just for me. What would you expect, from your Alpine retreat, that you and a bloke from Maidstone, a poster who admits to 'not going very often' and a corporate geezer who hangs out in the Shard should get a whole lot of respect from the likes of me? I've already said that today's negativity was justified. But you lot make an art-form of it. Which nauseates me.
