Also I'd imagine they charge different amounts for different servers, our contract is probably based on home match sales so is relatively cheap. After the farce of the semi final you'd think the club might've paid for/insisted on a one off upgrade. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Lets all remember what the club put in the information about the online ticket sales. "We expect they will deliver all of our supporters a first-class online buying experience." Think how bad it would be if the club had not made sure it will be "first-class"
We knew it would be a joke and surprise surprise it's a f*cking joke. Again. How long are the club going to put up up with this laughable service from ticketmaster?
Took me 3 computers and 2 hours, but finally managed to sign on to the website. This time I didn't get kicked out when purchasing tickets, so at least that was better than last time. Good job we're not a top 6 club getting to finals on a regular basis......we'd never be able to cope, as a club, with that.
Advice to everyone still waiting in the queue. I waited from 08.50 until 09.50 to log onto my account. I then waited a further hour and 10 minutes for the seating map to load. I gave up and started the process again from scratch, and had paid for my ticket, and got confirmation in less than 5 minutes!
Finally got a ticket after two and a half hours. So many problems with interactive map not loading and not being able to move on to final payment screen and then everything freezing. Had to abort and rejoin queue. It shouldn't be this tortuous
Same. I got through on Chrome 3 times, it didn't load correctly any of the 3. I had one open on Firefox which would still be in the queue now, but in my frustration I copied and pasted the full URL from the queue into another Firefox tab, and it loaded instantly. So I'd suggest anybody struggling try Firefox. Also, I got the same seat so we're going to win.
Everyone mentioning the interactive seat map and I never even saw that appear! Just got lucky with decent seats!!!
I think the club need to look at either creating more sub levels of fan base to reduce demand at any one time or find a ticket company that can cope with the process. I’m cat c and working the day I can buy tickets. I’m bracing myself for disappointment already.
They've given people 6 days to buy a guaranteed ticket and they're still all falling over themselves to squash through the door as soon as it opens. Not sure you can design out human nature.
The interactive map wouldn't work for me - ended up with 2 tickets that they allocated to me. Ho hum.
Yeah that’s true, but I guess if you feel you deserve or want a particular view and block / seat and are eligible to go for it then you probably will. I’m cat C so will have no choice but to do all I can to get one against 22,000 others. I’d rather know I had less points and would have to wait and see if I’m eligible at a certain date. It’s not an easy situation, I guess if everyone gets one eventually they won’t care too much about this scramble / shamble in the end.
Literally took 5 mins to buy 11 tickets from the ticket office but the main problem is with our fans. One woman spent 20 mins to buy 6 tickets - the queue was singing Hallelujah when she finally ****ed off
But they are not guaranteed a £70 in a row or block they want. So people try to raise that chance by booking as early as they can. It will be better once we are a top 6 club as we will be able to buy a Wembley seat add on to your season ticket.
Availability behind the goal lower tier looks really poor already............so I have taken a look at the upper tiers and these blocks also look to be selling very well. How can it look over 50% sold out when only 46% of fans even have a sniff of buying today. Are ticketmaster holding sections of blocks back? Seems unfair to ST holders if they don't have a full choice of available seats. Does anyone know what blocks we had for the semi final.................it looks as though we have the same blocks this time but with 5k lower allocation - that does not make sense does it? No wonder fans are trying to get on quickly to snap up the few good seats available for ST holders - when the next group get access no doubt loads of *good* seats will appear. Another WFC ticket shambles.
Yeah, that's fine for you, I wanted, and got, a cat. 3 ticket behind the goal, ground level, and there's only 13 rows. I am out for the rest of today, I have to be off to Peterborough in the morning to help set up stand for the antiques fair. Friday I'm off to Huddersfield for three nights, so really needed to get it sorted this morning.
I can't speak for everyone, but it's not about getting a guaranteed ticket, it's about getting goods seats at a good price. If you're buying tickets for a group, which I did, then you have a responsibility to others. Because I got on as soon as I could, I managed to secure £70 tickets, right behind the goal in the singing section.
When dealing with such an inept company, I can fully understand why people want the experience over and done with. Who's to say if the servers will even be up tomorrow morning?
I managed to buy my fourth ticket, after a message from Italy. It only took me five minutes and, probably because it was a single seat,I found the same block and only two rows different. It's certainly not an experience I would want to repeat on a regular basis if the club persist with TM. However given that it's been a thirty five year gap between finals,I don't suppose the opportunity will present for me!
It really seems to be pot luck in getting through the system. Mrs Willis was trying from before 9 am and got all the usual problems: long wait with nothing happening, getting thrown out just as it counted down and not seeing the interactive map. She had to give up and handed over to me at 12 noon. I got straight in and bought our two category 2 tickets in the lower tier. The only problem is knowing which are the family areas. You can't tell until you select adult seats and the system won't let you buy them; then you have to start again.
Anyone else still not had their account updated with FA Cup group? I saw a few earlier in the thread but no conclusion? Mine is all updated but my sons still shows home games group and nothing in his history.
I hope everyone has taken the opportunity to give their feedback to Wembley Stadium following yesterday’s email offering the chance to win a match ball (gosh! A football!). My effort in the free text to describe Wembley was Soulless, money-grabbing pit.
If you want to know what your view is gonna be (exact to each seat), then just change the block, row and seat numbers in this URL to yours and view away... http://viewfromseat.wembleystadium.com/MySeatMap/ViewFromSeat?Block=132&Row=34&Seat=267
Dear Moog. Knowing how you operate, if you can spare a few of your many many WFC Cat A logins it would be much appreciated. Usual commission rate ? Cheers. TuT. xx
Exactly they'll want to fill individual sections before opening up others There really was no need for everyone to rush on this morning and crash the server. You may even find delaying logging on presents a better choice...
