Drip feeding availability so people buy more expensive seats than they originally intended. Bastards.
Soulless, bland and overpriced was my response. I'm sure there will be plenty of others with the same opinion.
We don’t have to play the Man City currently beating Spuds do we? Might as well ask for the runners up medal to be popped in the post now.
Can you get a refund on tickets? Not sure I want to see a full strength angry Man City tear us the **** apart.
Well, if we can exploit Man City's terrible defence while our rock-solid back four keep out their star attackers, we'll walk it. I'm feeling a bit peculiar tonight
The last result we wanted. 3 less games for Citeh and nothing to save themselves for after they play us. With Ajax in the next round they would have been strong favourites for a final which Guardiola would have prioritised. Damn.
I got in touch with the ticket office about this. If you want adult tickets at the back of those blocks, you need to phone the club to buy them. The ticketmaster system can’t differentiate within a block which is why you weren’t able to purchase yours without a child ticket. Shame that wasn’t made clear up front.
I'm not convinced. If they lose the league as well by a small margin they'll come into the final in low spirits and demoralised ripe for the sucker punch we 'could' deliver. They could turn us over of course but that might happen anyway.
Yeah but there’s a fortnight between the FA Cup final and the Champions League final. He’d have hardly been resting half their team for our game. If Liverpool win the title I’m not sure Citeh’s all stars will give two hoots about the FA Cup as a consolation.
That stoppage time VAR was fantastic to watch as Man City finally got to feel the pain of a decision not going their way.
Didn’t think he’d rest players. More that their minds would be on the biggest game of their lives only 2 weeks away.
The more they fail to win, the more important the fa cup becomes. Plus no mental distraction of an upcoming Euro final. It was always going to be unlikely, it’s just a little more unlikely now.
Not helped us at all Spurs winning. Just a small chance that Pep will be arrogant in the final as he was in the first leg,but I really hoped the big games would catch up with them. Pep blew it last week. Silly not to have played his best team in a quarter final.
Confidence and pressure is an amazing leveller in football. They lose the league a week before our game and the fa cup us all they have left. Confidence may be low and pressure will definitely all be on them. In more straw clutching news...
I’ll be queuing up for a prime position outside my local Rumbelows. A massive ‘Man Who Fell To Earth’ array of tvs all showing the final guaranteed.
Sorry but really don't understand people proclaiming this as an absolute truth. I just don't buy the "City's mind would have been on the Champions League" line re the FA Cup Final - not with the big gap between the matches. And don't underestimate how important confidence is. If anything, I think we've got a better chance against a slightly deflated City side, rather than one which feels invincible.
We beat Spurs & tied with them over 3 legs. They beat Citeh over 2. We can beat Abu Dhabi Academicals over 1.
Don't worry. Hopefully the game will be put to bed early with some big controversial talking points. A couple of marginal offside goals going in their favour despite VAR and a super soft red for Capoue because Aquero ran head first into his balls. Down the pub, hold court, debate the talking points and that's what it's all about.
