Great result , thought it was going to end 1:0

    Two great goals

If I’m honest I thought they did quite a good job at keeping us in check , seemed to get to the ball before us and were closing us down continually. Thought we didn’t look that sharp - which makes victory all the better.

Real shame Hughes went off , but he did look out of it, at one point he seemed to be shoving the medical staff , didn’t think sema could cope today, think if Cleverley had come on first would have been an easier victory.

Deeney was good, Del was good, Bobby p was quiet , would have been easy to not realise douc was on the pitch , a couple of good saves for foster (wonder if we will ever keep a clean sheet).

Zaha does go down, is a **** , but he is fast and can get around defenders , luckily can’t score.

We all agree we need a goal scorer , but we are 7th and have scored more goals than anybody outside of the top 6. Imagine what this forum would be like if we had Fulham or Huddersfield form.

Arsenal last season. Came back from 1-0 down to beat them 2-1 with Deeney scoring a penalty coming on as sub. I've not checked if that was the last time, but from memory, it probably was.

I wouldn't be quite that confident, as one of the bottom three unusually has an amazing run of form at the end of the season. That's quite normal.

I would expect 35 points to be the cut off point this season. 1 more win will probably be enough, but 2 certainly will be.

Yep. I’m not assuming we don’t get another point. But even if we don’t win another game we will amble to 36 which would easily be enough. Unfortunately this is why Pozzo won’t spend a penny on centre backs this window.

If you consider this it's probably not far from reality. The whipped to near post corner isn't a bad corner. If you keep trying to get Deeney onto the front post and he gets something on it, it's a good chance of a goal. Try it for 5 corners and on the 6th... Dummy run, block off Tompkins. Cathcart back stick. We've scored a lot of goals this year from set pieces too.

Well done the Palace stewards for nearly creating a serious crush incident at half time. Hash-tag Uselesswankers

A superb win with Deeney, Holebas and Delefeu particularly outstanding.

Credit too to the ref, who I thought had a very good game.

Would be great to see Palace relegated but, unfortunately, I think there are three teams even worse than them this year. It can only be a matter of time though.

    Here I am!
That was a day and a half.
First, the four young ladies on the train to London Bridge, one in a snake jump suit, another with ample bosom showing, all with high heals and no coats,in January. Cone on girls keep wrapped up!
Good chats in The Market Porter with fellow 'Orns.
The ground; that was the closest I've been to fatalities since being swept along at The Shelf in the League Cup North London match in the '80s. The stewards had no idea and lots of people just stayed with the disabled section as they couldn't return to their seats.
That stand is not fit for purpose, narrow gangways and lack of clear management. There will be a tragedy in The Arthur Waite sooner or later.
Superb to flip it around as we did and the scenes when both goals went in were exceptional. However lads near me,you're going to hurt yourselves if you keep hurling yourselves around like that.
James and George;great to see you.Dad would have loved that!
    Fitting tribute to GT.
Still not sure how GD and RP failed to score in the third minute and I didn't realise croquet was so popular in Spain and Argentina!
I agree with those who thought AWS looked good. You would imagine there will be a queue for his services in the summer.
Home now and proseco going down well!
Mr IBB has gone out muttering something about "being some time".
Happy weekend everyone, pity SUFC couldn't make it perfect.

Would you take one win and three draws?

Maybe one of the bottom 3 will catch us, doubt 3 of the bottom 5 will.

Paul Tierney was the referee. He's one of the better ones so wasn't expecting any controversy today. He's fair and impartial. If only they were all like that.

I have to be honest, at 1-0 down I thought we were awful and had no hope of coming back, so I'm delighted to have been proven wrong.

I still don't think we played well and we have to many sub-par players starting at a level they have no business playing at, but to be 7th at this point of the season is fantastic, especially considering that fact.

If the owners put their hand in their pocket and at least get us a striker and a right winger then we have a very good chance of making Europe, which would be incredible.

That was also the last time Cleverly scored as far as I can remember. Pretty sure today also was the 2nd anniversary of Cleverly's return to Watford (I seem to remember he signed on the same day that GT died).

I'm loving the amount of players we currently have who have a bit of history with the club:

Foster - Made his WFC debut in 2005/06
    Mariappa - Also 2005/06
    Cleverly - 2009/10
    Cathcart - 2009/10
    Deeney - 2010/11
    Chalobah - 2012/13

I know. Question for me is concentrate on fa cup or going for europe?

Thing is, theres not a lot of difference between losing 4 in a row to referees decisions or someone like Zaha getting the rub of the green, or winning 4 in a row because Ighalo or pererya are on fire, or we score from every shot on target, or survive a penalty shout. JG has got the spirit in the team which tips in our favor over the small things.

Fun day out. Although I feared the worst in the 2nd half and couldn’t see how we’d get back into it without a change.

Anyone else frustrated by us not leaving at least 1 player up for opposition corners? I think today, letting all their outfield players into our third, just added to our nervousness.

Win FA Cup and european qualification comes with it. Finish 7th and we will end up with nothing if one of the cups is won by a team outside the top 5.

Why does it have to be a choice? We will always play our strongest team for league matches. That's a given.

But in the FA Cup our "squad" is pretty strong anyway. I think we can switch without too much impact. Keep the players who make up the spine and switch some of the others.

Like I say, as long as we don't draw Man City, I think we could beat any other club on any given day, in the FA Cup.

Took my son to this and we had seats as far off to the right as possible which means you can't see the goal. I would say that these tickets should either be cheaper or not sold at all.
Thought Deeney was excellent today and Delefeou ran them ragged. I also thought Pereyra did ok and kept possession very well. The back 4 looked solid but Zaha didn't do a lot, certainly the quietest game he's had against us.
A big thank you to Woy for reminding us to be grateful of the attacking options we have by bringing on Benteke.
I was slightly concerned at 1-0 as we didn't seem to be doing a lot but the equaliser changed the game and we were in the ascendancy after that.
7th place although very tight still but this looks like being the best season we've had since coming back to the EPL and a European spot is not out of the question.
A centre back is desperately needed but hats off to Maps today, though he was very good

Hope so in centre back terms. Up front I think it’s perfectly sensible to re-evaluate in the summer with Cucho, Lukebakio and Filiparevic. Would love a new centre back now though,
