People bang on about our injury list but Palace's is chronic too. Zaha, Sako, Dann, Puncheon, Schlupp, Wickham and Loftus-Cheek all out and Sperori and Kelly off for scans too apparently.
Hopefully we have had all of the injury bad luck, one or two players will hopefully start to,put themselves in contention, Seems Swansea and Palace are starting to accumulate injuries now!
Possibly. Would be surprised to see him play straight away as he's not played since kicking a fan back in October.
It shows that Roy is a good manager because he can still keep it tight. Zaha will be a huge loss though, it was during the period he was injured they failed to win or draw.
We all feel more positive after last night but I still think we should be on at least 33 points but getting to 30 is a milestone. Still quite away to go and whilst a win on Saturday would open up some breathing space again for me it's a must not lose (like Stoke). Just looked at the table, we're 6 points off 7th with 3 of the teams above us to play (all at home) yet also 6 points off the drop. Unfortunately and despite efforts to be more positive I still tend to look down not up.
I don't think that I had looked at the table since the draw with Spurs, I can't believe that we are only 6 points behind Burnley.
It would be nice to nip past Burnley. Their pre season training with tractor tyres on their backs whilst our loans formed an orderly queue at Immigration Control to be met at the barrier by an excitable Zola proves we are better, just better.
They've played a match with that squad though. I can't see what dispensation they can claim either, ours was based on an outgoing transfer being replaced by a player already registered to us.
They have 5 spaces by my count and the rules allow for free transfers to be signed. The PL rules just say they need 'permission of the Board' and apply no specific conditions to it. It would be pretty silly for the rules to say clubs can sign out of contract players at any time but then prevent them from being registered in a club's squad. I suppose it could be more of an issue if Spam already had a full squad.
I think you are probably correct. I saw their list but guess many on it are u21s. Must say I am surprised by those rules, but it does explain my utter confusion at talk of him as cover for a suspended player. The Spam fans must be well hacked off if they can only name 20 senior players.
Yet another over the hill player joins West Ham on massive wages...would be hilarious if they went down
6 points off 7th. If both domestic cups are won by Top 6 teams, 7th gets Europe, and the League Cup is already sewn up. Europe looks a possibility after Monday!
6 Points from Relegation zone and 6 Points from Burnley in 7th may as well start a Europa League thread as well
Zaha injured for a month and Sako out for the season. Palace could be in trouble Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hodgson is going to upset the Everton fans with this comment "Saturday will be a tighter game between two teams closer together." How dare he compare the mighty Everton, the club who do what they want and get who they want, to Palace.
Zaha out for 6 weeks but due to fa cup weekends and who they play not a huge loss. Would have been worse if it was final 6 weeks

Hadn't really looked at the table until Tuesday. WBA are in a weird position. Lost the same amount as us, and have conceded 8 fewer goals. Seems a bit harsh they find themselves 4 points adrift when they've not actually been that bad. Shows what not having the firepower to convert draws to wins does for for you. Really hard to say which sides could drop, and its obviously important to recognise that we aren't out of it yet.
God bless Knockaert on this day! Results weren't too bad today. Stoke Bha draw and palace losing. Lot of the teams below playing tomorrow.
