Ridiculous that Holebas got himself sent off No one really cares about the League Cup and we are losing anyway.... why get yourself a 2nd yellow when we have a league game on Saturday and you're the only left back in the squad!!!

Ill-disciplined and miserable performance. Hate to say it but our team seems to become a manifestation of Troy's personality when he plays. Arrogant, moaning and huffing and generally creating a bad atmosphere on the pitch. Never mind, let's hope this was a blip and get back to business against Brighton. Docoure and Chalobah were probably the biggest winners out there.
So annoying! If there was one player i was sure would be rested tonight was holebas due to lack of options at left back and he gets sent off. Plus a completely changed midfield spelled trouble from the start. Get the business done first then make changes. Mariappa as right back is laughable.

Struggling to understand why this happens every season. Looked decent enough on paper against a struggling champ teams reserves, at home, with momentum and positivity in the camp. Bizarre.
That's the worst thing for me. Losing to Brizzle is nothing when your previous cup record include losing to Gillingham, Donny, Brizzle Rovers (IIRC) and Notts County, almost all of those in a lower league to us when we played them. I genuinely thought Holebas had turned a corner though with the Muff game but it appears not. I get the feeling that some of those players played their last game for us (or at least their last for a long time).
Holebas is a petulent **** with an IQ of zero. He's one of the least reliable players I have ever seen.
Wasn't there and didn't see a stream so can't really comment except... Great league start, lots of momentum, winnable game Sat, so exactly how the f*** have we ended up with no LB ?!
Honestly, he was poor. Looked lightweight and out of step with the game. Then again this probably isn't the best game to judge him.
Made some good passes and linked play well enough, buuut he didn't provide defence splitting balls or beat his man except for one good run early in the 2nd half
