Adidas - Technical Partner Of Watford FC

I see a lot of people asking adidas to release the kit - I think they are asking the wrong people .... my guess is it's either the new club sponsor that is causing the delay, or our contract with Dryworld may run until 31st June and include financial penalties if a new suppliers kit is released before 1st July.

 

I think more likely to do with the sponsors, all dry world bits were removed from the shop on 31 may and I think adidas was put on the website and dry world removed on 01 June, also kits are usually started to be manufactured, designed about 10 months before the release date, as the adidas deal was done in December then the clock was against watford for an early release date

 

For as long as I can remember our club do kit launches in July. There's nothing new about this silence.

 

Can't wait to not buy an overpriced piece of fabric with the name of someone younger than me on the back.

 

I normally (this season was the first I couldn't) get the full new kit for my youngest's sportsday - thankfully he's in the yellow team.

 

Our deal with Dryworld ran until 2019, until they defaulted on payments to the point where we cancelled it. So there is no longer any deal, and certainly not one we'd be inclined to actually respect, given the situation.

 

I remember a time when they'd wear the new kit for the last home game of the season. The Mizuno kits in the '90's spring to mind

 

According to Historical kits 9 Premier league clubs have had kit launches for next season, so the majority of clubs havent.
Only 3 Championship clubs have announced new kits so far, though funnily enough all three are Adidas.

 

Last time we did that was the 2nd Burrda kit. I think it was the game where QPR won the Championship/went up.

 

Think it relates more to Bet138, moving from front and centre to the arms.

I'd be impressed if this was faked, can we get a CSI closeup on pixel #16 to verify? Looks incredibly plain to me, hoping that a better quality picture shows more detail.

On the big plus side though, no betting company on the front!

In my opinion all classic Adidas shirts should have the three stripes on the shoulder and preferably all the way down the sleeve. This wont be one of them.

 

Basically a yellow and red version of this year's standard template, like Brum away

Didn't our chairman say it would be basic template due to not signing agreement earlier and that 2018's kit would be better and allready signed off?

 

Takes some doing to be our worst it of the last ten years, but I think that would be it.

 

It's ten times better than the bumblebee kit from 15/16. And the Burrda kits.

 

Would have been better with black piping and 3 stripes, doesn't really go with shorts and seems to be red trim with socks as well

 

Better than last season's sh!t show.

Vile, and apparently designed by yet another moron that has no idea how to colour coordinate.

Black shorts and socks but a completely red and yellow shirt with no black in sight. OK then... Should be black neck, black three stripes and red for the piping from the neck and the Sponsor.

 

You've exactly described what was bugging me about the kit but I couldn't put my finger on. I think it would look much better if the adidas or fxpro logo was in black.

 

It just looks so sloppy. Should either be red shorts and socks (as much as I hate that) or the majority of the red on the shirt should actually be black.

I wonder if the shade of yellow is that light or just the pic? Anyway it looks passable here i think.

 

It's a 1/10 in the other picture, pushing a 1.5/10 in this one.

 

I think Forestieri will suit the new shirt.

 

Very plain and will be well over priced.

 

Why can't we have a kit like this, looks awesome.
