Suggestion that we may replace Ighalo with him. A not rocket science kind of guess really. http://www.soccernet.com.ng/2016/02/granada-star-isaac-success-on-watfords.html?
Watford, Udinese and Granada are all owned by the Pozzo family and it is envisaged that negotiations over Success’s transfer to Vicarage Road will be fruitful. Oh my, I was thinking it could be a hard and bloody negotiation between Gino and Gino. Luckily they revealed the truth. :sign15:
This news makes me moist, he looks top quality, Success and Penaranda either side of Deeney next season :drinking:
I'd rather not, on the basis that it just feels really bad of us taking what seems to be another young talent from Granada
He's on loan there from Udinese isn't he? There's no room for sentiment in this. If Granada perk up and start competing higher up the league and we return to the Championship I would expect the flow to reverse.
Exactly - the "model" has us buying and growing players for one another (Perneranda / Doucourre) and 100m TV money and 20m for Iggy will buy a lot for everyone!
I like him a lot,the few times I have seen him play. I especially like his little beard,he looks like how I imagine Milton would have pictured the devil, without the football kit, obviously!
Nah it was the same kind of transfer that we had for Layun and Paredes- Udinese bought Success from some random club and then instantly permanently switched him to Granada. Thing is though the reverse never happened when we were in the Championship and they were in La Liga so there's no guarantee that it'll happen. Going off recent history, we've just been taking players off of them
Good. They're crap. I don't see how sending players to a relegation battle in La Liga remotely benefits them. Granada are basically the EU passport generator and no doubt know their place.
Rather: ------------Ighalo Success -------------- Penaranda ---Suarez Doucoure Capoue Ake Britos Cathcart ?New RB? ---------Gomes
A man who has just died finds himself standing at the gates of Heaven. To his right he sees an attractive woman, and to his left is a ladder. The woman says, "Come with me through the gate and spend eternity with me, or climb the ladder to success." The man, always eager to get ahead in life, chooses to climb the ladder. The man finds an even more beautiful woman standing in front of another gate. Next to her is another ladder. The woman says, "Come with me through the gate and all your fantasies will be granted, or climb the ladder to success." This time the man is tempted, but his greed takes over and he climbs the ladder higher. He again encounters a woman. This woman, however; is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. She says, "come with me and I will satisfy your deepest desires forever, or climb the ladder to success." The man can't believe his luck. He decides to take his chances and climbs the ladder. He comes to another gate. This time there is no woman waiting for him, but a fat, balding, naked, sweaty man, instead. "Are you God?" the man asks. "No," the sweaty man replies. "I'm Cess."
I suspect that these couple of reports of Watford's interest in this chap are probably just speculative. He could of course end up at the Vic at some point obviously because many good young Udi & Granada players do, but I doubt there's anything in these stories other than just educated guesswork.
I can confirm that he's already acquired the taste for both Sangria and Limoncello in preparation for possible Pozzo loan moves.
