spoilt for choice with wingers, if WDS is to be believed - Berghuis, Amrobat, Success, Sinclair, Anya, Holebas... if whoever is coach can't find 2 out of that lot they don't deserve a job
I hope this comes to bite me on my fat ar£e but I ve seen quite a lot of Success this season and I really don't think he's all that ! . If he's won player of the season then he must have some blinders that aren't televised !
We are about to start seeing how good the scouting network and all else accociated with it actually is. Success has looked decent when I've seen him but whether that will translate here is another matter. He can grow or shrink and that is the risk that the experts have to determine. Success and peneranda could be absolute game changers in the right environment but it's up to us to nurture it. If we can get anywhere near what clubs like United have done in the recent past we may be on to something. We can pay their outlay Ronaldo money in exceptional circumstances now. If we can drive players like that and hold on to them long enough to push us up the league we will basically be Spurs relatively easily. I'm not saying that these guys are the next Messi or Ronaldo, but we need to be a club where it isn't wasted if we land a giant.
Should be an interesting signing.. He's a bit of a head banger though from some of the games I've seen in la Liga. Loads of raw talent. I wouldn't feel bad for Granada the point of moving him to us is so the group doesn't lose out. They'll certainly be seeing a few back in return. Regardless of the league they're in.
I can see the boo boys having a field day with Success. The player gets criticised for not being good enough and when he does come on and play well, the managers head is called for not playing him sooner.
I can see Vydra having a spanish winter for sure - especially if they go down - given the last game is v Barca then they have to win this weekend and i can't see it. Ekstrand Hoban and Belk must be candidates and Oulare if he is fit enough to carry his bags from the luggage pick up to the car!
You only need one of Penaranda, Success or Sinclair to kick on and become a good Premier player and you have as a minimum recouped all the transfer outlay.
He's definitely good enough IMO....pace, heart, passion, bravery, power and finishing....he's tailor made for English footie and I predict he will become a WFC cult hero if he signs. There, I've said it
Without wanting come across as talking bollox as iv only seen him 5 or 6 times on the tv but I reckon he could become world class, he looks like he has it all.
I can't see any of those you name being happy to play in the Spanish second division. Loans to championship sides or outright sales I'd have thought.
He'll fit in with Capoue
I know he is far from a finished product, raw and, well, 20 yrs old. But I like his positive play, I like his speed, I like the way he keeps his head up when running with the ball, looking for opportunities to play someone in. I hope he comes here. You may be right - but a bit of self awareness on where their level is may be needed! - has Vydra stormed the Championship? - I saw Belk play part of a pre season at Maidenhead and he hardly looked comfy at that level - Ek hasn't kicked a ball for a year and neither has Hoban - so whilst i wish Liga b was below their level i am not so sure - we got out of the championship by being better than the others in terms of quality and Granada will want to do the same - taking Perneranda and Success from them does not help that even if it is inevitable that those 2 won't drop down a level - the group system had worked better for us than them so far - time to reciprocate?
Vydra stormed the Championship the last two times he played in it for us. Maybe we should give him the 'Rooney benefit of the doubt'. He was good in the past so is definitely good enough now.
True. The fact they will lose him for next to nothing will be more than compensated by the arrival of Murray and the Belk.
http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=18974 Interesting that his agent mentions Uche Agbo in this, sounds like he's possibly coming here too. Also says "when Odion Ighalo leaves", either he knows something or he's just assuming a club will be in for him this summer. I'd imagine he has been told Ighalo is off which is why Success is now needed.
That report also mentions Uche Agbo who plays as an attacking midfielder who will only be allowed to leave to join Watford
Wow if that's true we really are stripping Granada of their players. I am concerned though that he basically is being forced to play here. We may not get the attitude that we need from him, especially if he's being denied a move to bigger teams like Atletico.
