Doesn't his loan actually expire on Saturday? How does that affect his eligibility for the Brighton game, if at all?

He can play against Brighton but not Wednesday.

I would put money on him being in the stadium for the last game, though.

Given his current form he'll be quite the loss, but we won games when he went back to Palace before and I think the squad is more than good enough to win without him. Tozser looks to be back in form.

Have Tozser & Abdi played in the same midfield since Guedioura came to us?

Any combination of Tozser, Abdi & Munari lacks pace and that little bit of extra bite/energy in midfield that Guedioura offers when included.

Him not playing will be a big loss against Sheffield Wednesday in my opinion.

As Oxhey mentioned, I don't think it matters particularly if Toszer is in form. I don't think a midfield involving him and Abdi will work very well because it offers very little balance/mobility. A 442 diamond could work with Watson but you'd need another very combative mobile player who's going to cover a lot of ground in there if you play both those two. That's why AG is so important to this side, he just adds the balance perfectly to our midfield.

If SW come at us like they did Muff I'd play Toczer anyway ... his long accurate passes and switches of play will be perfect.

Pretty sure won of our most convincing wins of the season was away at Wednesday - and Tozser was immense that day.

I do hope the Pozzos will consider getting their cheque book out and make an offer for the G Man. He's 29 so with a few years left in the tank yet. He obviously loves our club and its set up too which is worth its weight in gold.

He has to come off before midnight, though, or else he turns into a pumpkin and we lose three points (if we win). Let's hope there is not a lot of time added on.

Don't worry about who plays when he goes, or the formation.

Trust in Slav. He'll make something work.

I'd like to point out that the midfield triangle of Toszer, Munari and Abdi playing close to each other were absolutely blinding at Hillsborough earlier this season.

I really bloody hope we've got it in writing from the FA/FL that he is allowed to play!

Watson, Abdi, Toszer, Munari Layun, Anya Plus of course Fessi, Vydra, Inghalo if we want to go with 3 up front

Loads of choices and very little to worry about

One off game may not be noticed but The side would be weaker without him if our season was extended by the play offs

Wasn't there some story around that we could cancel the loan for a few days, then re-sign him?

Some bright spark's suggestion ... probably in the international break if anything but I suspect it's against the rules or would annoy the FL at the very least, they would have to ratify his re-signing (and they can drag their feet for more than a week). Just not worth the risk IMO.

Tozser Abdi Watson. Gives Abdi the freedom behind the strikers, Watson has Tozsed for his 5 yard passes and Tozser can keep spreading the play.

Guediora surely couldn't keep up the level of intensity and would probably have needed a rest, this way we can get 90 minutes out of him against Brighton and have a fully fit Tozser against Wednesday.

    Thanks for the replies.

I agree with most people here that, while he will be missed, we're not a one man team.

Really hope he signs permanently next season though.

As a side issue, it makes me think it's going to be a tough old season if/when we go up if Guediora's not good enough for a Prem side like Palarse.

(Either that or Pardew is an IDIOT)
