Great news. If he's fit for Everton maybe he'd be fit for a lap of the pitch the next weekend at home to the Baggies. 1881 - big pass over the heads flag on the Rookery? WELCOME BACK TO THE VIC NIC? Baggies fans would be bound to join in too seeing as the perpetrators were Wolves (although Ollie is of course a hero).
This is good news, let's hope he continues to go on to make a full recovery. My thoughts are with you Nic.
Fantastic news! If he's out and about and aiming to go to Everton that's a fabulous recovery - Well done to all the nurses/doctors/specialist and of course the Cruwys family for getting through this difficult time. I really hope that over the summer they manage to get away somewhere, even if only for a sunny weekend at some seaside resort in the UK so that he and his young family can get some much needed R&R before a busy season starts in August. It's bound to be a rollercoaster season with a lot of ups and downs, and I hope he enjoys every second of it. I won't be at Everton, but welcome back Nic!

Great stuff to hear/see his recovery is going well! Testament to the amazing work of the people treating him and the strength of himself and his family in such a tough time. It'll be great to welcome him back to The Vic in a month's time as a PL club.
True. Imho an appearance on the pitch would be far better than a requirement to read something which (again imho) would potentially present far more pressure on him in a skill which he might well be coming back to terms with if his full recovery still has nine months to go. If he's able to travel to Everton with relatives and friends then a circuit of the pitch before the Baggies match (also with relatives) on 15/8 might be something he and his relatives might particularly enjoy and appreciate. Our fans would certainly appreciate it too. I reckon it would raise the biggest cheer ever seen at the Vic (well certainly since Deeeenneeyy anyway!). Lift the bloody roof off again! But it's really not for me to speculate. Whatever was planned (if anything) would be for Nic and his family and the club to discuss.
Shame it wasn't attempted murder. I hope they all have a long jail sentence, and get shafted on a daily basis whilst picking up the soap in the shower. Also, why was he on SSN? Was it an article on him, or was he invited as a guest? Nice touch if they've invited him in.
Actually - Wounding with Intent is fine by me. "Inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, or wounding with intent, is one of the most serious violent offences someone can be charged with. The offence is so serious it carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, and can only be dealt with by the Crown Court." Here's hoping those scumbags never come out.
