I've got 6 coming up, three AS resits and three A2's. IT a week today, followed by english language and then PE resit. followed by the other three. not looking forwards to it.

    Now or never i suppose.

oh for the days of a-levels. best years of your life gentlemen. but put a bit of effort in. they arent as hard as you think, but youll regret it if you **** them up.

got my first round of real uni exams starting next week. which shouldnt be too bad. the difference between just about passing and doing the best i can is 3% of my overall degree mark, so pressure is off.

Couldn't disagree more. School was utter shyte and it was the happiest day of my life when I left the place. I couldn't wait to get out and get to work. I sometimes have flashbacks of having to go to school and it sends a shudder down my spine :dismay:

There's more pressure on students now then in the bygone days. In order to keep CV's to a manageable level I would only interview somebody with a half decent degree...in days gone by that wasn't as important.

Good luck to all of those taking exams....

My first year exams were worth squat. 40% pass mark was all I needed in everything.

40% is something you can get by writing your name on the top of the paper with a doodle of you (with a big third leg) punching Mike Tyson in the face.

A complete waste of £6k of debt.

Was the 1st question name 3 hot drinks? And had to design a muffin etc...
Our teachers don't even teach, so you turn up to the exam, write the correct answer, but becuase we hadn't been taught a thing, quite a few people got D's.
But we nicked the mark scheme off the internet ;)

You mean the one about him discussing the Ipswich away kit? Cos that's in another thread. If not I don't recall. My digs at Don all blur into one.

Is psychology a mandatory course or does everyone take it because it's an easy qualification?

Wasn't disputing how many people were doing it. I was referring to it not necessarily being an easy option- though someone taking it seems to think it is.

Basically a posh name for arguing birdy!

It is actually really interesting where you sort of make a claim and have to get/find evidence to back it up. I believe the Oxbridge lot dreamed it up as a way of improving the skills of future university applicants.
