If you are paying 30+m for a player you would be expecting them to be a starter. As far as I'm aware Brighton are the only team that made a bid for him, even Newcastle pulled out for him after Isak became available

 

What a bizarre argument. That's like saying Callum Wilson isn't PL quality because Isak starts ahead of him! And anyway it's Welbeck who is probably keeping Pedro out of the team at the moment and he's been excellent for Brighton in the last year.

 

I guess Phil Foden isn't a Premier League quality player because he hasn't started for City today then

 

I'm not argueing just answering Sydney_horns comment about Pedro getting game time and he is only 21 I was just pointing out that a 19 year old is preferred to him

Why not? If you can say a player who is getting game time in a Premier League team, and is very highly rated by the fans, isn't a PL quality player because someone in the team is two years younger than him then I am well within my rights to talk **** too.

Eh? You are saying "some people thought he was Premier League quality" but are implying he is not because he's starting on the bench. So you are saying JP is not PL quality by inference.

Asprilla even had the cheek to seemingly blame Bayo for it as well! That being said I really rate Asprilla. There's definitely a PL player in there. Not convinced there's a PL player there currently though - needs a season or 2 to mature and develop in the Champ first.

Nothing short of woeful the cross for Bayo. But he wasn't the only one. Kone, Louza bothfar to casual with their passing and tackling.

 

Styles can't come in quickly enough, hope Kone goes out on loan, because there's a player there somewhere. Kayembe isnt great, but I think he's best as a box to box midfielder, we still need a defensive midfielder

In real time, I thought he'd overplayed it, but it was a very composed finish for a player who has only scored 1 goal in just over a season for us! Must start instead of Louza for me now

 

Asprilla is better playing where Ince is currently playing. He's got more space and can see more of the pitch coming in on his left. His link up with Andrews' underlapping runs is fantastic as well.

Ince may not have produced much today, but the application was definitely there, which is more than you can say for Louza, can we fit Ince and Asprilla in the same XI? Louza is a complete passenger at the moment

 

Certainly can. Both Asprilla and Ince have played centrally in the past, but VI seems to prefer both in the RW position in his 4-3-3 and seems to opt for Chak if he wants a creative alternative to Louza in one of the no. 8 positions.

 

Surprised me when I just saw that he's actually played more minutes than Ince this season which I wouldn't have expected.
