Would be a good move for him but I oubt it - they'd never be able to pay his wages rumoured to be 7k/week.
I'd like him to make a real go of a first team spot to be honest, he has the ability and his work rate is decent, there have been questions over his attitude towards officials but that's something that could be ironed out. But then again, I suppose £360,000 a year is a good amount to save on someone replaceable/sellable. Meh, if he goes I wish him all the best, hope he has a good career, but I wouldn't be displeased if he stayed and battled it out.
if it was true, doubt he would leave for very much... it all depends on how useful malky thinks he is, if this is true - he will either go for a low price, or on loan.
Malky obviously doesn't think much of him, he has hardly featured, didn't go to Spain. I see him being a fringe player this season.
Well I am sure if Malky was certain he wanted him in the squad he could of at least taken him to Spain for some light training or something?
they only had 24 spaces though, and besides he would of seen what hoskins was like last season? i hope he stays and proves himself - whenever i've seen him play he's looked like a good player. Maye he just neds a run in the team - and he could maybe get that this season, depending on other transfers (smith and priskin).
Despite his goals his performance yesterday didn't really warrant a place in the first team and if Charlton have bid then I would accept it.
