Just a thought here but if we want a flying winger having missed out on Townsend and several other European candidates then why not stick a sensible bid in for Zaha. He has always caused us problems over the years, he's still only 23, and with a bid around the £14m level I could see Palace being receptive. Thoughts.......
He's their only offensive weapon at present and they paid £15m to get him back from Manure. Highly unlikely.

Brilliant player, excellent attitude, stays for extra training each day with the younger players and does loads of community work in the local area but most goes unheard of due to his media shyness. Loved by Palace and would need a bid of at least £24 million. Would love a player like him in the team as he winds opposition fans up as well.
He's absolutely quality and one of the main reasons Palace are in the position that they're in now. Without him or Bolasie they were, and probably would still be, an extremely average Championship team. He's never ever going to sign for us though.

I expect the transfer after next for him will be palace, he didnt cut it at Man U, why do people think he would with us, he could be a one club player never being a success with another club.
Name many players who cut it at United under Moyes? Palace got him back for under half what they sold him, an excellent deal for them. Anyway, Palace would never sell him and I very much doubt he would join a club like us either!

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree, he's a mid-table/bottom half Premier League player imo. Quick and skillful yes, but there are loads of them about. Doesn't have the discipline, work ethic or end product of a top player. United realised their mistake and bombed him out.
