who are the bids for

I heard on 3cr that we have had bids in for more players i wonder who the players are.

 

Matty Jarvis from Gillingham! Watch this space ;D

 

I have heard this about Jarvis and the Gills fans are expecting us to make a bid of £1.5 mill.

But where would you play him? Essentially he is a winger - great for squad depth but Hameur has been playing awesome?

 

Surely he's play on the right and give Smith competition for right wing? We don't have any cover at right wing whereas we have Boozer and Macca on the left.

 

Jarvis can play on the left or right and up-front. Would be a fantastic addition, good replacement for Young.
I wonder with Billy Jones will be one of the players. I'm really suprised no one has made a bid for him considering he is a good young central defender and full back. Also like Jarvis his contract is up at the end of the season.

Billy Jones is a great shout! I also like the look of Greg Halford at Colchester! Big, strong and versatile! Just Aidy's type of player! Can play in midfield, full back or upfront! He's only 20 aswell!

 

Also they said there was offers for are players i wonder they are.

 

Flynny mate - i reckon Jay could be on his way - pure speculation but i reckon and its a pure guess and siad last year also as speculation that i thought he would go to Foolham.

There is no substance or anything behind this, but you asked who of our players may go - i reckon Jay - for silly (good) dosh too.

I have heard good things about Matt Jarvis from mates in Kent. Would be nice to have a good right winger again.

Billy Jones seems to have been played at left back a lot i believe this year even though he is a centre mid. Both would be good.

I can't see Halford going now with Colchester still in play off hunt. Would be a good signing for next year if we were to be in championship

 

Don't scare me PYA! We've already lost Ash and Springy, I think letting Jay go would be a huge mistake, with Malky not really upto it, Mariappa now seen as a right back, Carlisle out for the next 9 years with 472 seperate injuries and Shittu out with another knock (whether it's only a minor one or not I don't know) I think we'd be in a bit of trouble at the back. I speak to Jay quite alot on MySpace and he hasn't given any indication that he might be on his way so I'm going to pretend I never saw what you wrote
