Anyways, I need to build a massive lead before the 23rd since I'm away for a week after then and it'll be all yours.

 

Oh good! The thought of that last week that will keep me going after tonight. I just rediscovered why I normally do it late when there's no-one around to interrupt. :rant:

needless to say it did not take me 35 minutes to do today's quiz. Got caught out by the 'site maintenance'......

some of these questions have popped up in a pub quiz i go to over here aswell

That's it after today's debacle I am going to take the time to read the questions properly. I'll just have to sacrifice on time, because nearly every time when I go back over the questions and read them properly there is one or two that had I read them properly I would have got right :doh:

I really don't get how some of you do the quiz so quickly, because even when I rush and don't read the questions properly, I still can't get anywhere near some of your times ???

Come on Admin, let's get some variety! There are a million custom categories out there to try, without another week of questions about he son of Ham, who Japeth's wife was or whether Moses supposes his toesies are roses or not.

 

The setup is not to good on these quizzes. There are a certain amount of fixed categories and there are thousands of custom ones. Trouble is, you can only configure ONE custom category at a time, so you could have a custom category set for every day but unless it was changed manually every day it would be the same category. Here's a screenshot to show you...



It's just easier and less hassle to have 6 fixed categories and 1 custom day, then change the custom questions weekly and the fixed categories bi-weekly or monthly. Just less overhead for me.

 

can we just ask that you give religion a bit of a break though?
