****. Cup semi final not important then ? Giving any of the other reserves a run out ? Waiting for the later excuses that he "had no chance with any of the goals". Foster saves shots he has no chance of saving.

I think Gomes has earned his place, he is still a top goalkeeper. I have complete faith in him unlike when we played Pantillimon in goal the last time at Wembley and he tried to save a goal in the top corner with his foot??? COYH!

We have a keeper that is being hailed as one of the best in the premier League, and we don't play him in an FA Cup semi final.
    Ridiculous decision.

Anyone moaning about Gomes needs to recognize that our forwards will have to get past John Ruddy.

I hope we shoot on sight.

I hope that not only do we win, but that Gomes plays a key role. That way its vindication beyond doubt.

Come on you Horny Hornets! I've brought my opera glasses because the players are gonna look like ants from up here.

Gomes hasn’t done anything wrong in his cup outings and has been incredible for us for 5 years. Deserves this after his spot was taken by Pantilimon last time. Call me sentimental but I’m pleased for him.

Gray for Deulofeu makes sense to me. Deulofeu has not been doing it of late and Gray has made an incredible impact off the bench for several weeks. If you can’t play your way in to the team off the back of that then 15 of our 26 players may as well request transfers now.

A very defensive subs bench for us. Hopefully Gray and Deeney will render that notion void. I'm going for 2-1. Doucs and Cathcart with our goals COYO

Having Delefoo on the bench, if it does go into extra time his pace could be telling against tired Wolves defenders. Hopefully it wont come to that.

Gray has deserved his chance to start. It makes sense in this game as well given that Wolves play with three physical CBs and Gray might be more likely than Deulofeu to help Deeney out in winning some duels against them.

Really? Deulofeu, Janmaat and Quina can all do a good job for us going forwards should we be chasing a goal.

Fair play to Andre, hope he has a good one!

Deleufeo the only ‘front 4’ option off the bench, but a good option.

Two big chances missed by Gray, not sure Deulofeu would have taken those tbf. Gonna be riding our luck a bit in the second half, they've already troubled us a few times since the goal from counters

Sutton says Watford fans should apologise to him.

When offered the chance to say sorry.

We should phone him up and say sorry

How does this rate with the great Watford moments of the past? Only a youngster so I don't have much to draw on, but surely that's got to be well up there than the Leicester semi-final and the promotions, and surely greater than the 84 semi given the manner of victory?

Fantastic - the only word for it. They are talking bout it as being one of the greatest semi-finals ever. Now this time we need to go to the Final intending to win - not just to take part. How can a football match make you feel so happy?

    What character this side has!

We dominated the whole match other than the first 5 minutes. Gray has scored some vital goals for us recently, and on another day one of those chances of his goes in and we'd have gone through in 90 minutes. As it is, we did it the hard way, but it made it extra satisfying. Some of the criticism at Gray given the season he's had was very unfair and demonstrated real short memories; excellent assist for Deulofeu as well. Good to know that whichever of Deulofeu or Gray starts, the other doesn't let their heads drop and can perform off the bench - it was good to see them both celebrating with each other at the final whistle as well, neither of them seemed to feel hard done by about being rotated in the team.

    Gomes was excellent.

Have to give credit to Troy as well, both for the penalty, but also for his stamina. Last season in the same game he'd have been walking after 70 minutes, today he was non-stop even through extra time. He'd admitted that he'd been slack and unprofesional last season, and today really demonstrated the improvements he's made.

Only slight negative was Mariappa, I wondered whether Kabs should have started instead of him and he wasn't great again today. But clearly it's not worth dwelling too much on.

Seeing Nuno kick that water bottle in frustration after Traore messed-up a cross in extra time was very enjoyable.
