Their back four is pretty poor if we can move them about and get them out of position.

It's a decent lineup. Still, I think we'll miss Zinc's eye for a key pass. With Sarr out too we're very much down on chance making ability compared with recent weeks.

Ken has plenty of assists in him though. I just hope he can dig deep knowing there's a rest coming. If Bailey's Boy can stay upright (see what I did there?) he's got the strength to give us something we haven't really had recently and hopefully create chances for runners from midfield.

Bowyer says they will come at us. Might be good news for us. They do need the points.

Haha they did. But at this stage of the season, I clearly see drawing and losing as they same thing!

Kevin Phillips just confirmed the Brum players can ‘all head it and can all run’ so we might be in for a tough afternoon.

Even better results so far, Barnsley and Reading both losing. I hate Watford defending a 1 goal lead. We need a killer second goal second half and I hope we don't try and sit on this.

On that showing I'd rather Gray than Success.
How he managed to take an air shot when through I've no idea.
    We'll need another.

Terrible referee. Potentially one of the worst. He's hardly been tested and he still gets it wrong.

His pace has completely gone (as you'd expect from a snapped Achilles). Outpaced by every Brum defender and now on a yellow. Agree, it's time for Gray. Little bit of sick came up.

He maybe nervous of pushing off for a sprint, understandably.
It's as if he has his feet on the wrong legs.
Twice he's got in a tangle, once for the chance.
    Masina should have scored too.
    Very anxious here.

Another Xisco masterclass, within 30 seconds of substitutes Ngakia and Gray’s arrival, they combine to score haha.

You know it's good when we score from a corner again and Gray finishes like a predator marksman!

Another solid performance without a couple of key players.

    Came on Cardiff

A pivotal moment today after the earlier result and whatever happens tonight.

A class apart in every department. To a man they showed quality, effort and sheer determination. A great result minus Sarr and Zinckernagel as well who along with Masina will be back after the international break. The way the ball was handled and calmness with it's use was excellent. Also how excellent our set pieces have been. The variation and inventiveness.

Sierralta was so so impressive again at the back but the captain seems like a new signing again showing his PL and England credentials again. Leading by example he deserves to retain the armband and his skill and the way he blocked attempts on goal was wonderful to see.

Success was rusty unfortunately but Gray should hopefully get some confidence after striking after just 38 seconds from coming on. The sole disappointment being some of the chances that should perhaps have ended in goals. Pedro, Success for example and missing a wide open Hungbo as well. This is a result that sends a message given how impressive Birmingham City have been on the road. A job well done. Now for Cardiff to win please. :D

PS Etheridge must hate coming to the Vic.

Can't really judge him yet, he looks unfit and not sharp but I guess he needs minutes on the pitch..?
Great selection today, we looked better once success went off, but that's a very good win without two of our best attackers..!!
