I’ll keep MY words minimal. It ain’t the end of the world, but @SkylaRose seems to have hit the nail on the head. It was so predictable, so easy for them, and yes their goal was quite good and a nice strike but we did NOTHING to try and get back into the game. On a bad run? Cannot score? Leaking goals left right and centre? Play the side who cannot score a goal and give 25% each game no matter who is in charge. QPR deserved it today, well done to them - take nothing away from them and it's probably a massive relief to their fans'. I am not angry and I am not disapointed. I am LIVID! That was, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst performance I have ever seen. Sarr was dreadful, even managed to shoot the ball off the pitch TWICE! Davis needs turfing out the club now, let alone the Summer. Bachmann to his credit made a few decent saves and was probably MotM but that's an easy pick from a pile of rubbish. Hoet was very poor, and is clearly buying into our culture. Cathcart looked dodgy. Wilder may as well not be here. Nothing has changed. Nothing will change, until Gino buggers off. Shout box was the best part of today. Thank you everyone who shared in my pain. Hive live is not a lot better. Brum next? I cannot see us winning that one. Deeney winner late on, put your morgage on it. GET OUT OF OUR CLUB POZZO. You have destroyed any sense of unity our squad/club once had. I need to go scream into a pillow. 0~0?
Going to be the first home match I’ve missed in years for no other reason than I don’t want to go. In fact I think it’s going to be the first time ever, in 44 years, that I’m not going because I don’t want to. I’ve just had enough of this circus. It feels like Gino is the devil, where you sell your soul for 7 good years. Now we have to pay the price as the devil collects.
I guess the smallest of positives for this is we can experiment a line up without Sarr and potentially a front two. Might unlock something, wouldn’t hold your breath.
Are we going to see fans calling for his head after 2 games if we don't win then because that would make them no better than the Pozzos really it could be argued?
Yes probably won’t change much or last long at all as simply we have too many players not up to it or not prepared to perform well consistently. Even more so as many will be off at the end of the season anyway .
Could be the start of the 7 straight wins that fire us right back into contention? Must win game. 1-1.
I think it will be an easy win for Birmingham 2-0. The team are not good enough. All the talk of good individual players is complete rubbish. Only Sarr and Pedro have any decent sale value. Their price is dropping with each game. Some home will boo the team, but the rest will cheer and clap enthusiastically, it's the Watford way.
I don't know if I'm a cog (see comment A) or a bedwetter (B) any more.... A: Must win game at Vicarage Road under the lights. Should be a great atmosphere and, with the stands rocking and the crowd roaring them on, the boys will certainly be fired up. B: Meaningless fixture on what's forecast to be a cold evening means this will probably be our lowest crowd of the season. Those that are there will give our lazy wasters dogs abuse if they put in another sh1te effort.
Obviously A is better than B @Lloyd I’m predicting a bit of both so…. C: Start off really rubbish, no energy or enthusiasm, then, they build a bonfire in the centre circle and Deeney brings his stash of cold meats and Spam selection. He shows off his ample baps.
Sorry TuT, the must win game was last week. Brum is now a must, must win and Wigan will be a must, must, for the love of God, win this f***ing match please. Not sure how the Cov and Scum matches will be titled yet, will get back to you on those.
Just arrived back in England to attend the next two home games, I must be mad 135o mile round trip drive and four ferries. I'm sure the team will show a similar commitment thou?
It would be so Watfordy for us to scrape two 1-0 home wins this week - half of us would be "partying as if it was 1999" (literally).
Given up on this season, but is it too much to ask that we try to build towards next season? (Narrator: Yes, it was)
Feels strange liking my own post This game is going to be another damp squib. Awful last Saturday, awful against Preston, average against Sheff Utd. Nothing changes, results will continue unless you know who goes. 0-0
It's going to be grim. For once I'm grateful to be working out of town so can't go. Saturday however I promised I'd take my kids to the Gino Clownhouse
I know the official attendance will be around 19000 but suspect the actual figure will be a lot less. I'm going but I know a few others who are not for the same reason as you. season tickets for next season will be coming out in the next month. I wonder how many won't renew?
Pat Sharp is out of a job: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-64900345 He'd be perfect for the main job at Gino's Fun House.
I hope Deeney smashes in a last minute winner iniating pandemonium in the Rookery and a pitch invasion.
PLEASE don't play that lazy waste of space Sarr again this season and get him out of our club. He epitomises the current uninterested attitude of the majority of the squad. Play some of the youngsters for the rest of the season and at the end of the season get a PROPER manager that knows what he's doing instead if this clown Wilder.
