Bilic seems a lot less like most of our previous managers and is happy to chuck people straight into the team, so if the new guys are deemed good enough and Choudhury can walk I reckon they'll start. At least that is 3 more options (plus Kone)
Just looked at the side we put out when we very unluckily got hammered 3-1 by 'Pool three months ago: Bachmann - still here Gosling - crippled Troost - still here Kabasele - bayoneted Kamara - BANNED Kayembe - disappeared Sema - tight Louza - loser Choudhury - available on crutches Sarr - not interested Bayo - interested Bench: Davis (snapped in half), Asprilla (sixteen), TDB (broken), Sierralta (possible), Hungbo (Scottish 3rd division), Morris (brilliant / awful), Okoye (christ help us). On that basis and the dross we're likely to field tomorrow, I'll take a narrow 0-1.
And our home performances generally haven't been that great in recent times. Could argue apart from that Swansea mess the away matches have been better.
Indeed but Blackpool are due a win. Much like Swansea were. https://twitter.com/VoicesOfTheVic/status/1613913770081882115
Blackpool away rivalled Millwall away in terms of levels of abjectness. Hopefully we get a similar amount of revenge.
It’s January , it’s cold and wet , need something to add some joy into my life so could do with a good performance and a victory Haven’t checked to see who is back , which of our new signings can play, hopefully who ever turns up plays with the same spirit as the Norwich game. 2-0
For periods of Blackpool away we were the better side but fell apart. At no point at Millwall were we the better side
Fair enough, that is an important nuance. I was more basing it on what I heard from people who went who said it was an utterly miserable experience. Confident we will smash them now.
