That is immense!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO I NOT LIKE THAT? https://www.thehornetsshop.co.uk/gi...s-games/4568_80s-vicarage-road-3d-puzzle.html
In 1922, Watford Football Club moved from Cassio Road to Vicarage Road, where we have called home for 100 years. To celebrate the centenary of our stadium, this model recreates the stadium in the 80's - a classic era where thanks to Elton John and Graham Taylor, Watford rose to the top of English football, finishing runners-up in the top division. Remember those first glory days of the excitement in the League, FA Cup and European by recreating the stadium to your home. Assembly Time: about 90 min. No tools or glue required. 7+ years 116 pieces (and 116 grammatical errors)
I once had a really vivid dream where I was sent forward in time to Watford of the 2050s. The first thing I did (and probably would do) was check out the stadium. It was now enormous if slightly decrepid, with the East Stand now an unroofed, 3 tier behemoth with flags along the back (a bit like Valencia's old stadium). Alas we were still in the Championship and for some reason Clarke Carlisle was playing for us. Would buy a 3D puzzle of a future Vicarage Road in a heartbeat.
You should have a go at the 3D globe, or the Titanic. I've done the globe but the Titanic one is so furstrating, I love the idea of the stadiun though - possible b'day present for neice.
Interesting to see we once played at the junction of Market Street and Beechen Grove. Now all built over. And of course with Bentley's Holy Rood church means that the site must have been used before 1889. One of the pictures used shows I think play at the current West Herts Sports Ground with the houses in the back on Park Avenue.
Did anyone write in the 100 years at the Vic book - then get a badge? Caused quite an outrage on Twitter from those who didn't receive one.
