Crowd seems very low. Quieter than I've seen it in ages. Covid checks seem to be men with clipboards - no idea what the purpose of the online form was. Anyone find out? I was asked if I was going to the game but said no and walked past and that appeared to short circuit their script completely. Team looks good but West Ham's team looks strong enough.
As before albeit there was more of them . People were almost offering for them to look at the passes ! They didn’t seem to really be stopping fans themselves.
Noble vs Kucka is surely what Amazon Prime had envisioned when spending millions on Premier League rights.
looks like him, Elliot, Ngakia for sure - others like cleverley/rose could be injured or throwing us off the scent and the long term injuries are unknown for CV The ones who had it and are recovering will become obvious after 45 mins when the legs go - my bet is that Louza / Pedro would have played but are only bench fit
Ranieri must have asked him to self-isolate off the pitch in much the same way that he's managed to perfect that approach when on the pitch recently.
The 'checks', by people in Vicarage Road, are as stringent as choosing to answer questions some random person with a clipboard might wave at you in the High St, asking your opinions on whether Greggs is too expensive or not. Needless to say I walked straight past. No-one at the turnstiles asked either. They said they aim to target a 20% sample, it's more like 2% and even they will have chosen whether or not to go to a hi-viz with a clipboard.
Are you implying Morris is so good he can also function as an auxiliary goalkeeper at Premier League level?
Great insight from the BT anchor earlier, discussing the Brentford game - “How much of a problem were these two goals Watford conceded at the end?”.
We’ve learned nothing. 11 behind the ball won’t work. You have to have a hold up player to release the pressure and give you some possession. I’m confused as to why Claudio has done this again. The team looked so good how he had us set up before. He’s trying to tighten up a lost cause defence at the expense of our attacking impetus.
I think we could forfeit our next 6 games 3-0 and it would leave us with a better goal difference than if we'd have played. Dark farking times ahead
Think this quote on BBC site says it all. "West Ham have looked very comfortable since turning this game their way. They look far more likely to extend their lead than Watford do of finding an equalise" And they were fully on top before . Midfield over powered and they are really stretching us up front.
I’m crying at seeing King cross into the box rather than be there himself. Someone please explain it to me as I’m losing the will.
It's the sheer panic that sets in which is so alarming. All cohesion goes out the window and it starts to look like an u-11's game with every player trying to desperately win the ball.
It's a bit like watching the England test side. You get so angry at them for being ***** but then realise there's nothing you could change to make them less ***** Depressing as fark
Why do our defence insist on ducking out of headers? Masina ducked out of that header hoping it would go out for a GK, instead Antonio kept it in and got the cross away and we gave away a pen from it. Amateur hour
Absolute joke club. Ranieri will be gone by February one way or another Bachmann laughing after yet another ridiculous error Just relegate us now save us the wasted time. Genuinely don’t want to watch another game of this season
We need to sign 21st century equivalents of Tony Coton, John McClelland, Colin Foster and Keith Millen the moment the transfer window opens. A goalkeeper and at least three defenders who instantly and significantly improve the team's entire defensive shape, attitude and aptitude. The front half of the team isn't that bad, but they need to score three per game to be in with any chance of winning. Being the architects of our own downfall game-in, game-out regardless of which defenders are on the pitch is demoralising to watch. Knowing that the replacements who come in simply make different types of mistakes to the players they've replaced inspires no confidence.
We're a club run without any discipline or leadership, and the players are quite happy just to fark around on the pitch and pick up their paycheck. Dennis aside this team is an absolute disgrace
West Ham fans singing “you’re only here for the West Ham” when it’s our lowest attendance of the season.
