Awful from the start. I hate early kicks off. Second half was better but by then contest was over. Foster passed it and awful distribution and responsible for 1st goal imo
I don't care about players having YouTube channels, sometimes they can be funny and informative, but Foster just takes the piss man, your job is to play football for Watford FC, not rub shoulders with B list celebs!
Seen a lot of arguing about clapping their goals, and leaving early, now that is certainly not ideal, and not something I'd partake in, but, first and foremost, you know, the team should try and stop forwards waltzing through us? Maybe also try not going 4-0 down with almost an entire half of football to go as well, might be a good trick to keep the fans in the ground
How was he supposedly given too much defensive responsibility when he already had two full-backs behind him in Masina and Rose also doing defensive work (albeit they were crap)?! In Spain he mostly played as the left-forward in a 433, so just with one full-back behind him. In most our games he'll also probably be expected to play as one of the wide forwards in a 433, in which case he'll need to be able to stick a foot in occasionally. He doesn't really deserve a spot anywhere in the team though right now, as he doesn't offer enough either in defence or in attack. And being supposedly given too much defensive responsibility is also not an excuse for why he repeatedly one-touch passed the ball to a Liverpool player every time he got it, as if it were a hot potato.
Foster touched Salah on the shoulder and shared a laugh every time he could, I counted at least 3. Guys a total ****, goalkeeper position is a massive priority in January.

MotD didn't hold back. Shearer "shambolic", Richards "disastrous". Shearer also went on to say that the Watford players were just not up for it. Normally when I see a game back on TV it's not usually as bad as when you watch it live, but it was just as bad. We are getting pelters from ever corner with our performances. For me it was a huge worry. The entire backline should be binned off. It's so, so bad. Masina, Cathcart, WTE shouldn't really play for us again. They are the problem not the solution. Kiko and Rose were appalling today as well. It's just not good enough. It's pathetic really, and if the team cannot get up for Liverpool at home in a new manager's first game, then they really don't deserve our support. I'm beginning to despise the team we have bolted together for this season. It's hideous.

The MOTD analysis is really damaging. WTE and Cathcart running into each is hilarious. Firmino sprinting to Foster’s deflection whilst WTE jogs is also hilarious. Funniest of it all, is Gino IS THERE WATCHING IT. We can all see it, Alan Shearer & Micah Richards can see it, why can’t that idiot just bring some competent defenders in?!
I thought Foster could have done better with his attempt to save Salah's wonder goal, but now I know why he didn't bother to dive.
