I still maintain Healey will prove to be a decent signing once fit. Although that's almost entirely due to a £10.00 wager made with a pal after a few pints that he'd get 10 or more league goals this season.
My Mrs whose Norwegian has just informed me that Owl in the bog should mean owl In the swamp. A sarcastic nod from her and she left the room cursing the Svenska faen. Supposedly it's said when something suspicious has happened.
Chant suggestion for our new number 9 Mileta Rajovic? The Scandanavian commentators pronounce his name Rajavitch so Elton John’s Bitch is Back could work. Vitch, Vitch, Rajavitch to the tune of the chorus at the end of the song. Just tried chanting it over SEJ’s version on YouTube, seemed to work. I’m sure we’ll just end up using the old Troy chant with Mileta Rajovic, Watford’s number nine at the end of it.
Rajovic, woah. Rajovic, woah. His name sounds Serbian, but as he's actually Danish he's never murdered anyone.
Quite good that Deeney bloke before he got fat. At @Ghost of Barry Endean I hope you haven't jinxed it posting this, enjoyable as it was it has vibes of playing the playoff highlights at the stadium just before we lose to Leicester again!
Hopefully we’ll be counting crows goals over the next 4 months, otherwise it’ll be time for the big yellow taxi.
To the tune of 'I Am Sailing': He is Rajovic, He is Rajovic, Mileta Rajovic, from Denmark. He is flying, Passing high clouds, He's the owl, at the Vic.
Owl vs Crow... Who Will Win? Loser Put In The Transfer Bin. Both Are Young, Both Have Knees... Can Either Go On A Scoring Spree?
I think Ngakia will be back in for this one and hopefully Sierralta. It's farcical that we have to choose between Sierralta and Livermore but the former is the lesser of two evils.
It would be quite surreal, after a rare Bayo goal, to have the Rookery sing "Tonight there'll be ice cream, Ice cream for Crow".
Oh no! I have recurring nightmares about the good Captain. Especially ' Electricity '. My brothers have a lot to answer for!
I’m a fellow Norwegian (with the weight it comes with). The expression “Ugler i mosen” translates to “Owls in the moss”. No bog/swamp involved
Obviously loads of time to turn it round but lose tomorrow and it’s 4 points from 12 and relegation form. Win and it’s 7 points from 12. Looking at the other teams in the mix for promotion I can’t see us having anything to worry them anywhere on the pitch
Norwich and Leicester have started very well. I expected Leicester, but Norwich are scoring a lot of goals early on in games, something we struggled with since the openning 45mins of the season. I am quietly hopeful our new Owl can get a few though. I am not expecting us to even remotely trouble the top six this season, staying away from the bottom three and playing a more passionate and attacking brand of football is what the majority of the fanbase would consider a successful season.
Oh defo, me too…. But that in my opinion would just confirm our status as back where we were before pozzo and with a load of debt to boot….. a real shame as it could have been so different with just a few different choices but I guess would would know at the time that Gray would be such a waste of money and Sarr etc etc it’s all hindsight
