Want players before Saturday

Boothroyd wants to seal the deals of the players he wants by Saturday so u never kno we may be seing 1 or 2 of them on Saturday vs Stockport

 

yes, he said he wants them done by the weekend

 

I wish we knew all the player he was interested in!

 

Well if the players we are targetting are from the lower leagues, its more than likely that they will be cup-tied anyway.

 

I was reading on the Watford site that Aidy was looking for a David Nugent type player..
Maybe someone a bit cheaper, but same characteristics.

 

He'd be lucky. You have to move quickly to get the bargains!!

I cna't see it happening unless he's willing to pay above player value. I know he said in his mail they've been preparing for a while but I still don't see a deal for anyone of importance being done in 3 days. I mean - first the club needs to accept, and then the player. And I imagine we are not the people offering the best wages so the player negotiations could take a while.

 

I don't expect us to sign anyone before Sat, but we do have a chance of doing it though.
