I agree - there just isn't enough time to get good at it either, for every hour you play a kid somewhere has played 100 hours - I get shot before I can even who is shooting me! I loved MW2 at Uni

Tried playing battlefield but got bored very quickly.

Going to buy GTA5 when I have some time off over Xmas.

 

CoD 1 + 2 were the best imo. Before all this current day/future nonsense. I was immense at CoD1, if the map was Carentan and I was on the Allied team, i'd come top of the leaderboard without fail. When it was first released (they later fixed it in a patch), the German bolt action rifle shot slightly to the left, and i'd mastered it. It was pretty much one shot kill, and whilst everyone else was struggling to hit their targets I was running round wrecking fools. Gonna have to re-install it when I get in and see if anyone still plays...

 

Would be really epic if they could do a next gen reboot of COD and go back to WW2. The latest one was pretty silly with the exo-suit things and fricking laser beams.

 

COD1 and 2 were my games, that and CS, I used to play with Dignitias. Got my fair share of keyboards, mice, headset, hardware!

There's still a group of a few hundred that play public servers, but a lot of them are full of ****, hackers, or compulsory crap downloads.

Carentan is popular, as is Toujane, more TDM and DM than S&D unfortunately though.

CSS community is still going strong though.

Agreed, hate MW games (apart from CSS for some reason) and love WW2.

I recently got a game called 'A Dark Room' on iOS. Pretty darn addictive and frustrating. But amazing.

My PS4 collection is building nicely, I now have COD: Advanced Warfare, FIFA 15, GTA V, inFAMOUS Second Son, Killzone Shadow Fall, The Last of Us, Metro Redux, Shadow of Mordor, Wolfenstein The New Order and WWE 2K15.

Still can't be f**ked to actually play any of them most of the time but they look nice in the rack...

 

Completed GTA on PS3 and finally I've reordered it, cant wait to play it again. The Last of Us is meant to be pretty good?

Played COD's single player as it's something I always used to do first, picked it up for the first time since modern warfare 3, having a bit of fun with it on ps4 I won't lie, better than expected. Still think it's not as good as battlefield though, but like nath, it's adding to my collection that's building up due to the ps+ games as well like injustice.

Although I can't stand the dashboard as it's very clunky, you made the correct choice.

 

halo is ****ing brilliant when you can get a ****ing game. 5 weeks and 34 ****ing 3 have not fixed it!

 

its been patched about 4 times, I think the last patch even made it worse again. absolutely appalling release by 343, but games companies nowadays seem incapable of releasing a finished product. the ability to patch a game on release has made them sloppy and careless. halo, destiny, the crew, assasins creed unity and battlefield are all major titles for both consoles that have had serious issues at launch. it should not be like that.

can you imagine back in the day Mario 64 being unplayable at launch? its ridiculous and games producers need to realize that the market is getting seriously hacked off. unfortunately the pre-order culture has meant that they can get away with things like this. im not pre-ordering any more, **** it. Im going to read reviews and everything, before spending my cash on something that may or may not work.

that being said when the MCC works, it is brilliant. I love playing classic halo 2, brings back some real feelings of nostalgia, but currently they are swept under the rug by the general feeling of disgust at 343.

 

no not really. some achievements nt unlocking but thats it. i am yet to play destiny.

 

SM#16 - I'm afraid I'll have to take issue with you at the Play On The Pitch day in May if you fiddle around with Miguel Layun's Fifa 15 stats like you did with Paredes.

 

Paredes is a lot more realistic now, which I'm sure you'll have all come to realise.

I've been looking into Layuns, he's probably going to be dropped in a couple of areas but not hugely, looking through the history of his feedback, the Mexican data team get away with murder!

Accrington are now a Mid-Table PL side, pushing for Euro's after ~8 Seasons.

 

How so?

 

I started a career mode with Portsmouth, using the financial take over from the catalogue. Aiming to build a squad full of players that I have scouted, so I have three 5* scouts. Finished first by some way in League Two but now struggling mid table in League One, I just can't score.

Current first team players from the academy, all are aged 16-17:

Pope - GK - OVR 70
Bartley - RB - OVR 55
Saunders - CM - OVR 52
Cretaro - CDM - OVR 62
Smith - LM - OVR 67
Vincent - RM - OVR 57
Judge - CAM - OVR 57
Herron - CAM - OVR 61
Henderson - CAM - OVR 63
McCallister - CAM - OVR 64
Davies - ST - OVR 54
Ferguson - ST - OVR 66

No real standouts but Henderson is probably my favourite so far.

A 54 Ovr ST is not good for League 1, barring good form.

 

Oh sorry, that wasn't my starting 11. Still have a few original Portsmouth players starting. Davies rarely plays but he can be useful as he is 6'5!

Youth players that start at the moment are: Ferguson, Mcallister, Henderson, Smith, Vincent, Bartley, Cretaro and Pope.
