I think they were running backups in the last hour or so, seems OK now but am watching.

 

This isn't normal function. Running backup's shouldn't considerably decrease the forum speed.

 

Am I the only one who is not being effected by this?

And just now the page loaded wrong and the postings box took up half the screen with random code on the right hand side.

 

Quite the opposite. I've not been about today so I'm happy to hear reports of it. It's also a way of proving it to the hosts.

 

yep very sluggish for me to this afternoon.

 

In that case you'll be happy to hear the site was down for 3 or 4 five minute periods during the first 60 minutes of the game this afternoon.

 

Right, from this moment onwards I'm going to give the hosts grief every single time there is an issue until they either fix it or kick us off.

So EVERY time you get speed issues of any type, post it here, including the time of day it happened and I'll create a trouble ticket for the hosts to sort out.

I let rip at them last night, maybe not the best idea but I'm sick of it. They've moved us to aother server, and it looks to me like we're on our own on that server for the meantime. Speed should NOT be an issue for now, but let me know if you see any problems.

 

Not a speed issue, but just noticed that no youtube embeded videos are working. Just blank white boxes? Is it just me?

Chorleywood doesn't do youtube, too chavvy. It's blocked for the whole area.
