Backing a manager, giving him time to implement his plans and reaping the rewards now feels so alien as a Watford fan.

Let's not forget the hire and fire strategy had been effective for years until it wasn't. It is encouraging that the club eventually seemed to realise that (even it if took 3 years longer than it should have).

That said, I still think his time is up. Time for a fresh voice?

The man’s got us winning 5-1 away with a midfield trio of Livermore, Kayembe and Kone. Imagine being told that back in August or September.

 

As of today the 8th longest serving manager in the championship!

 

The corners are significantly better in quality and repeatedly more dangerous looking recently.

Still impressive since he has only been in the job 7 1/2 months.

 

Oh yes I forgot about Wagner, expect V.I. will see out a few of those sooner or later!

 

I thought he’d be a total disaster as Head Coach with a horrific style of play.

Clearly I know nothing.

I shall keep my (wrong) opinions to myself in future.
