Two 'Crystal Meth' threads

I find it to be irresponsible, inadvisable and disgraceful that a forum viewed by impressionable teenagers has a thread title alluding to a description of an illicit (and, potentially fatal) drug.

Having nursed people who are recovering addicts and who, as part of the rehabilitative approach, avoid any reference to meth, I suggest, Messerschmidt Admin, that you encourage the original poster to edit their post title or do it yourself

Anyway, Palace fan in peace. "On police advice" Watford aren't giving us more than 2200 tickets, which we've sold out.

Now this isn't a complaint about the number of tickets, its about how they're selling it. Watford have introduced a "family area" inside the away section. Not sure what you know about this but basically you have to buy 1 adult 1 child tickets and thats the limit so you have to buy in 1 adult 1 child groups even if you don't want the child ticket, so if you want 1 adult and you don't have a child with you you get turned away at the turnstiles and the same with 1 child. Seems a bit discriminatory.

I've seen your attendances recently and they appear to be on the lower side, prompting some Palace fans to think that we "deserve" the whole stand (we don't, but it would've helped ease the tension).

What are your views on this, turning away 1500 more paying fans at an average price of 20 quid, and this "family area"? Is it a common thing?

 

Gymmers, the original thread is closed so it will only sink lower down the forum. Any recovering addicts who search for the words on Google may well be directed to this site, where they will be safe, so I feel we are doing our bit to help them.

Cpcfly, your lot make too much noise which hurts our ears, hence the reduced numbers.

Didn't hear about the Family area inside the away stand.. Seems a bit weird.. the problem being was the when certain fans *cough* Millwall *cough* took the liberty of throwing things at the home fans from a few yards away, there was a bit of outrage (understandably). Since then the entire left side of the Away stand has been sealed off. Whether that is now open and being used as a 'family only' area then idk, I will see Saturday, but if it is, then what's stopping people swapping seats? meh... as I said, we shall see.

I seem to remember five or six incredibly brave south London pikeys kicking off with old boy on his own last year after the game when there was a bit of aggro outside, which is probably part of the reason why the police have limited the number of tickets.
