I am not surprised we signed an 'old' but good goalie with the 2 lads coming through the Youth who if they carry on will be excellent for us.

Sure the new left back, striker and winger won't bbe 35 otherwise I might get worried!

Two old boys yes but Poom i think will be our number 1 keeper next season very good keeper and a good kicker of the ball (which will make a change) 35 isn't that old for a keeper plus he's only on a 2 year contract at which point Loach will be pushing for first team football. Jackson has been brought in as cover again on a short contract very good defender , experienced, calm and another good teacher for the young lads coming through. Look at how Malky's experience is being used by Aidy.
I do hope thats the end of the old boys though, we do still need 4 or 5 players in with a couple moving on. A new left back, a winger or two if Hammer goes, 2 new strikers one up and coming the other a proven goal scorer and a good passer of the ball in midfield.

    Two shrewd/cheap signings.

Both have experience at the top level and have experience in gaining promotion!

As suggested earlier in the thread, Poom will tutor Loach in becoming number one here!

I don't think we'll be signing any other players over 30 this summer.
