From the look of him, Deeney is the one who is well fed up. And he's round. But I'd like him to stay.
Although it would be sad I actually think this may be a good thing for him. Doesn't seem to be quite what Silva wants and doesn't seem to be able/willing to cover the amount of ground he used to which is a shame because it was often that effort and energy that inspired. He actually looks like a man that needs a fresh challenge at the moment. BFS likes a target man and Troy is definitely that, if he could get a pay hike for the next 2/3 years and we get a sensible fee I'd say thanks and good luck.
From Troy’s viewpoint it’s pointless going to Everton when Silva will become their manager in the summer and he’s confined to bit part sub again. If he stays, however, Troy’s career will be revitalised next season under our new head coach Tony Pulis.
Great player but not exactly the fast nippy striker that Marco likes to stretch defences. Isn't he just another Deeney, but one half the size... that scores goals ?
Giroud is not fast, but to get to 100 goals for Arsenal in fewer games than Bergkamp or Van Persie suggests he may add something to our squad. Of course if we even anywhere near able to attrack a player like that this season, it would mean there are plenty of quality options to consider in the summer. I expect Walcott is faster and he is available, but not sure I would rate him a better investment.
If Deeney and Okaka are off and maybe Sinclair and Success on loan we should get Zarate back. He is scoring some nice goals in the Middle East so is fit and in form. Whether one adds Slimani, Giroud or another we will still need 3 to 4 strikers. Richarlison could play in the centre but currently he is more effective out wide on the left.
If we could get Giroud, that would be amazing! I have always rated the guy, and his goals per minute played must be right up there with the best in the world; sadly I think it is a bit of a pipe dream, but you never know, after all we are a resonably established PL team these days, but I wont hold my breath.
Acttually 28 goals in his 58 games for Brighton isn't that bad! Would be of more use to us than Gray.
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/12/06/stewart-robson-believes-everton-will-sign-troy-deeney/ Who the hell runs HITC? £10 million!? "Deeney is valued at around £10 million according to Transfermarkt and it's probably a bit too much to pay for a player who is more a professional nuisance than a goalscorer." Very cheeky!
Anything over £20m and we should take it. If he stays he'll be off in the summer anyway and we'll be lucky to get £15m.

Hello Jim, Ming here from China. I note you neglected to respond to either myself or Tim last week. Is everything OK? I shouldn't have to remind someone ITK like yourself that cooperation and collaboration is the only way to ensure a steady flow of Watford FC data to pass on to these forum users. Anyway, my sources here in Beijing tell me that Deeney could be involved in a £22m move to Hangzhou Greentown, with a deal with Shandong Luneng Taishan involving a swap deal with Wu Xinghan also in the pipeline. Please could you let me know what your sources in Mill End are saying? As you are much closer to the Watford FC teat of information than I. And remember Jim, as famous Chinaman Confucius said: "At home, a young man should be a good son, when outside he should treat others like his brothers, his behaviour should be one of trustworthy and proper, and should love the multitude at large and keep himself close to people of benevolence and morality. If after all these activities, he has any energy to spare, he should read widely to stay cultivated."
Not sure you will. He gets very very touchy if anyone else goes near those and a full signed off stocktake would certainly be required.
Loved the interview Troy Deeney gave just now to Sky. Basically the interviewer ask Troy directly if Everton came in surely you'd want to go to a bigger club. He just put her straight by saying he didn't consider Everton a bigger club. They are about the same as Watford. He went on to stay he's not looking to move and is happy to stay. That stopped her dead in her tracks.
