This a fair point, but perhaps the player's didn't know the system Xisco was trying to enforce. Let's face it, Mr. Blobby could of done the pre match talk and gotten the same response. Absolutely no pattern to anything we did, I would like to think we would have never lost our focal attack in King and our best RB had we been more switched on.
The urge to type OF in that sentence was tearing my soul. I could also hear the grammar police sirens.
It's not that deep, matey - we're not in an argument about your lifestyle, and laughing at the vaguely similarly themed forum section title is not 'saying things that aren't true' - even now, you are inventing re-framings in a strange manner to cast yourself as some kind of victim, as you have been throughout. It's a little disingenuous, I'm deeply sad to say.
Truly laughable that being appalled by someone betraying the most meaningful and intimate connection and promise someone has made in their life, entirely to the detriment of the person that made it to as they lie repeatedly and without qualm at any point, out of pure unadulterated selfishness, is framed by you as 'rushing to the moral high ground'. It tells us all we need to know, a thousand times over, frankly.
OK, I admit I cheated (still not easy, given the host of clubs Ranieri’s managed) - QSF replaced Ranieri at Valencia in 2005.
There's only one song for our Dilly Ding, Dilly Dong recruit... "Come on! We're Champions League man."
I reserve judgement. Certainly experienced but not a survival expert. Always had a soft spot for him so i really hope it works out for us both.
We were absolutely abysmal against Leeds and Newcastle, yet drew one and should’ve really drawn the other. We’re not in the relegation zone and he potentially hasn’t got to move the dial much to get the results we need.
Well Danny Murphy, who is my 'go to' pundit with an encyclopaedic knowledge of every team inside the top 2, reckons Ranieri is 'too old school' and will take us down.
I had talksport on in the background earlier this evening and the usual unknowledgeable Gough spouting out such classics as "do Watford think by hiring ranieri they're now going to win the league" and Durham calling us a small club for saying people who don't know about what's going on at the club shouldn't comment. Then Danny Murphy came on and it was all I could stand. Alexa went out of the window.
What I don’t understand is that they bum Brentford morning noon and night, but when it comes to us we should accept being crap and not attempt to do anything about it. Heaven forbid we should have aspirations of doing as well as a team who finished below us last season.
This is starting to remind me of that BWL love story from a few years back. Was it Watford Gary or something?!
They are the new Muff. Until they get relegated the media will not have a bad word said against them.
"Refreshing" and a "breath of fresh air" they call it. Though it was also "refreshing" when Bournemouth came up, plus when Sheffield United came up, plus when Leeds came up, and now with Brentford. At what point does "refreshing" just become normal routine?
Not until that exact word means "begins to stink out the league". I expect the media have a few 'Glade' air-fresheners for all the newly promoted teams who they take an immediate liking to.
It doesn’t really make an sense, the league table sorts itself automatically from best to worst, they’re currently occupying a space a team like Wolves, Leeds or Southampton might have been in and around last season. They’re not adding anything new, so it’s not a ‘breath of fresh air’ at all. It would he just as entertaining if any other team from that list above were performing as well.
Guys, please have a browse at our "rivals" forum. Warning - sick bags on standby. https://bournemouth-forum.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/watford.14644/
Obviously a stop gap but a sensible one. Whether he keeps you up is a different matter. Why didn't you go after Eddie Howe and try to steady the ship ? I would hate to have your owners but you are getting away with chopping and changing managers regularly so far. My only concern for him is the quality of players at his disposal. He might be in for a shock. Would be great if you could stay up though as it means a seasonal Premier League club dropping if Burnley and Norwich go. Be brilliant if either Newcastle or Place are relegated.
Howe would never fit the club mould tbh. We have head coaches not managers. He wouldn't take it if we offered it.
You implied that I'm a former player which isnt true. There's an element of age bigotry in that implication. I'm sure u wouldnt dream of being racist or homophobic online but you have made several wierd comments relating to age. Do u have daddy issues or something??
