I'm going to the England Malta game so if Big Sam could give Deeney a call up for that match, that would be great!
Sam will not drop Rooney, with Kane injured he'll play Rashford because that will keep the FA and the advertisers happy, rather than play the best Englishman on the pitch from Sunday.
Sam may well be brought in as the next Utd manager to save them from the drop so it might not even be his call.
I think that is probably true. Strange thought that England are probably top 10 championship level at the moment

God l hope not. The thought of half this board coming anywhere near me, dead or alive, makes me ... (insert some dry wit here that l can't be bothering with right now). I did hear though that Facebook is the world's biggest cemetery wiith so many of its members dying and nobody else having the password to close the account.
we are watford fans first and foremost, not troy deeney fans, arent we? how will it benefit us if deeney plays for england? all it will do is put him in the shop window for the bigger clubs, and run the risk of him getting his ear bent by all the **** in that squad. The last thing we need is those ***** convincing him he's bigger and better than watford. It's happened time and again. See john stones etc for further details No call up, thanks. Or if he does get called up, I hope he has an absolute stinker.
Speak for yourself mate, I am definately a Troy Deeney fan, the boy deserves an England call up far more that Rooney at the moment. As for having his ear bent, he knows what's out there already and he knows he's a legend with us and may only be a bit part player with someone else. He has also been quoted as saying "I want to be the Troy Deeney who takes Watford into Europe" Watford are going to surprise more teams than Manchester United this year, start thinking of us as a big team, because that's where we are headed.
sorry, I just presumed that on a watford forum we were all watford fans. Seems your love of troy deeney is greater than that of watford fc, which I find utterly baffling. If you think he would not drop us in an instant if arsenal or spurs or chelsea come knocking then you are off your rocker. And at the england camp all their players will be tapping him up.
I find this attitude a bit odd, to deny somebody who deserves it because it doesn't suit your needs as a fan. I'd actually feel very proud as a Watford fan to have a Watford player called up to the England national team, when was the last time that happened?
My needs are much much much more important to me than troy deeney's needs. My needs as a fan are suited when watford win. They will do that more often with troy deeney in the team than without. Getting an england call up will increase the probability that he leaves, and that we then win fewer games. Who in their right mind would wish for a scenario that might negatively impact watford fc?
Why would it increase the probability that he leaves? He could've gone to Leicester but didn't, so are Chelsea, Arsenal and City suddenly going to come in for him if he gets an England call up? And why are all these England players going to be in his ear telling him to join their club? What's the logic behind that? I can just imagine Wayne Rooney begging him to join Utd so he can take his place in the team. Furthermore if Arsenal did come in for Troy, who in their right mind would blame him for going? I certainly wouldn't begrudge him taking a chance like that if it came along.
It could work the other way too - we could easily get an influx of English players after Troy tells them how we're going to win the Champions League in 3 years.
even more reason not to want him to get a call up then, english players are dreadful! How many of the england squad would make our first eleven?

You are either a massive wind up merchant or a massive bell end I'm not quite sure which, maybe it's both.
